    I place the 5 boxes in areas where I know there is mice activity. I put one in the kitchen and 2 in the hall. I also put 2 into my living room where I have seen a mouse while I am sitting watching television. Two boxes have activity as they have moved from where I have placed them so the mice are going into the boxes to bite the bait. Hopefully soon the mice will disappear.

    Boxes pre-loaded and ready for positioning. No adjustments necessary. As mentioned in a previous review, the instructions font needs to be larger and pasted on the underside of the box to avoid damaging when opening. Sturdy boxes, will monitor for effectiveness as only in place a few days.

    Of the ten baited boxes, two have red keys attached to open the boxes. When you open a box you find that there is one fairly small bait block in each. So yes they are baited, but not with much poison, so I added some higher strength poisoned wheat. The boxes are small, so no good for bigger rodents , but ideal for mice. These boxes are reusable and can be used with blocks or poisoned wheat. The included block is secured in the box by a spike and so should not fall out. At about a third of the size of a rat box these are easier to place in the home, under a sofa etc. I always have a few poison traps placed on the floor in my garage, this is particularly the case if you put your car in the garage as mice, when its cold will climb into the engine compartment and have a tendency to nibble through wires, which can be very expensive to fix.
