It is my wife who drives an electric car, not me, but I gave her this and she is very happy with it. It has a very good length so there is no issue in getting it to reach, the attachment point works well and it charges as smoothly and quickly as the charging point she is using will allow. No complaints.

This is a type 2 Charger Cable that you can use on your EV to charge from the Mains Supply.If you own an Electric Vehicle you will almost certainly already have one of these small Chargers but it's a good idea to have a backup.The adjustable current is 8A/10A/13A/16A, and the output power is 3.6kW, which means it takes a fair while to Charge your Vehicle to a high level but that's not a problem if you are at home.The advantage of a spare Charger is you can leave one at another location like a friend or relatives home so you wont have to carry around your original one when visiting.It has a timer so you can set it to start Charging during the hours that suit you (and your wallet) and the display gives an indication of Charge State, Temp etc. so you can keep an eye on what's going on.For the money a very useful device, and if you don't already have one it's a must have. Recommended.

Bought this charger a few days ago and like someone else as said this fails and the screen looks like an extract from the matrix. The instructions in the charger are unclear and it does not have instructions to set the delays etc.What a waste of money.Having charged over night from 10pm until 5pm the charger stopped operating at 1am...... disconnecting itself from the car and switching off. This is the 2nd time this has happened previously it gave me 15minutes of charge before failing. It is very unreliable.

This unit pretty much does what it says on the box except it only charges my car at 3.2Kw which is disappointing.

Cavo per ricarica auto elettrica
Ho acquistato questo cavo di ricarica da usare in alternativa alla wallbox fissa che ho installato nel 2021 insieme all'impianto fotovoltaico.Sono più che soddisfatto dell'acquisto fatto per le seguenti ragioni:1) il cavo di ricarica AFYEEV permette ricariche a 6/8/10/13/16/20/24/32A, tutte testate e funzionanti2) E' un cavo di ricarica smart, il che significa che la ricarica si può controllare mediante l'applicazione Smart Life dal telefono. Mediante l'applicazione è anche possibile modificare la corrente di ricarica al volo, quindi senza interrompere la ricarica stessa. L'unico neo dell'applicazione è che non indica la potenza caricata nell'ambito dell'ultima ricarica, ma indica solo tensione, corrente e temperatura.3) La gestione del cavo di ricarica da APP funziona anche mediante bluetooth se non c'è copertura wifi.Nota: il cavo AFYEEV di potenza 7,2Kw è dotato di presa industriale da 32A, quindi l'impianto elettrico deve essere opportunamente predisposto; in alternativa è meglio orientarsi sul cavo da 3,6Kw, dotato di normale presa schuco.In conclusione: con questo cavo di ricarica faccio praticamente tutto quello che faccio con la wallbox fissa che, nel 2021, mi è costata 15 volte di più.
