I don't know why they made this product so hard to use. You can't just put it all over your hair, you have to do a small amount section by section and when you're done your hair is either overloaded by product or there's no difference whatsoever to your hair. I will stick with the Amika hair glossing product that is so simple to use. Just put it all over your hair, it makes no difference if you use too much, your hair comes out lovely, soft and shiny!
1.0 out of 5 stars Made my hair rigid
I’ve used Ouai shampoo and conditioner for a while so was looking forward to trying this. Sadly made it almost impossible to dry my fine hair and set it stiff. I followed instructions exactly. Waste of money for fine hair I’m afraid. Had to shampoo twice to remove it. Would like a refund.
2.0 out of 5 stars Not that great
I really wanted to like this product.I used alot of ouai products, but unfortunately this one just doesn't cater it for me.I find it doesn't really do anything.I'll use it up, but will give another company ago next time instead.
Fine hair follow these directions!!!
OH MY GOODNESS. Dude. All static burdened and fine haired babes, read this freakin review. This stuff WORKS. Just look at my pictures! The first one you can see the static/dryness and the second is after I used this product. That is after I blow dried it!! No static. I swear on the bees.Okay I live in Colorado where you could run a small house on the amount of static you produce because it’s so dry here, especially in the winter. I have fine long hair (like to the middle of my back).Follow these directions and I promise you you and your hair will thank me.1. Shampoo2. Squeeze out all water3. Split hair into two sections4. Use like a pea to a dime size amount (seriously, don’t get excited and use a bunch) comb it through (with fingers is fine) on each section going ONLY to mid shaft. It will NOT feel slick like conditioner. Don’t worry. It’s doing its thang gurl, just be patient.5. Leave on for 3-5 mins6. Rinse7. Condition your hair from mid shaft down (this locks in the moisture), don’t leave in for very long as it’s not necessary and it may make your hair greasy if you leave it on too long.8. Rinse thoroughly9. TA- DA! You now have fabulous glossy, moisturized hair.So I use all Ouai fine hair products. The smell of this one is like the others, floral. I am sensitive to smells and this doesn’t bother me. If you have fine hair, follow the directions above. You may need to tweak it based on your hair type but it worked wonders for mine. My hair was staticy as all get out and really dry and this stuff revived it massively. I will probably use this once or twice a week depending on how much static my hair holds. Cheers!
Frizz Gone
Love it. I apply it in the shower after shampoo and wait 5 or so minutes and rinse. Hair sits in curls with no frizz. Can last 2 to 3 days looking and feeling manageable.
It works!
First time user of this product and brand and I was skeptical of the price, but after using this product, it’s worth the money. I used this product as instructed and styled with heat, (all I did was blow out my hair after the shower) and I immediately saw results. If you have straight to wavy/semi curly hair, its recommended to skip conditioning and when I did I was unsure if the moisture in my hair would hold up (i have dry and frizzy hair) but when I was done blow drying I couldn’t have been more happier with my results. My hair was softer and more shiny than before.

Warning: Gross Hair! Ouai won't rinse out!
Ouai Hair Gloss is the WORST! I should have listened to the reviews warning that your hair will look and feel greasy and/or wet after using it. My hair is normally pretty shiny and bouncy, but Ouai left it heavy and gross. The only part that looks clean is the top/roots where I didn't apply it.I figured the bad reviews were because maybe they hadn't rinsed it out completely, so I thought I'd beat that by rinsing extra long. I followed every single instruction exactly, then rinsed for five minutes - the same amount of time the instructions said to leave the Ouai in. My hair seemed okay till I dried it, which took much longer than normal. The part where I'd applied the Ouai looked greasy. So I thought maybe it needed to have hot tools used on it. The curling iron made it worse. It left my hair so heavy it can't even hold a curl.AND, I can't get this greasy feel off my hands, either - even after washing them with Dawn. I'm going to have to try washing the Ouai out of my HAIR with Dawn, too, which may cause damage but will hopefully work.BEWARE: Ouai Hair Gloss should be discontinued and those who purchased it should be refunded.
