60 vegan antioxidant Allicillin (garlic) supplement capsules; one per day.Packed in an upright opaque plastic (recycle friendly) pouch with clear, easy to read lettering.Information/instructions printed/labelled front and rear, plus beneath the pouch.The pouch is resealable.Garlic odour upon opening the pouch.Inserting an easy to swallow capsule into the mouth, one is immediately hit by a strong garlic odour, filling the mouth/nostrils.Upon swallowing (use plenty of liquid), may produce the odd burp and garlic odour.Like many rivals, there is a lack of information about what type/source of garlic used.Pure ingredients that are known to be healthy.Not competitively priced.Excellent packaging design, saves space, easy to use but not odourless and expensive.

The capsules are nice and strong and you can smell the garlic as soon as you open the pouch. They do leave behind a slight taste but if you don't keep them in your mouth for too long and swallow them quickly, it disappears within a few seconds.The first time that I tried a capsule I took it after food but found that this disagreed with me giving me a bit of reflux, so the second time I decided to go with an empty stomach about half an hour before eating anything. This time I had no problem at all, so I took the rest like this too.The only criticism I have is of the writing on the packaging as the white writing on the yellow is hard to read. I love the capsules and I think that they are a quick and easy way to get the benefit of garlic into your diet without smelling of it all day. This Allicillin comes in a resealable pouch of 60 x 500mg capsules with a recommended serving of one per day giving you about a 2 month supply.

These are quite a garlic strong capsule which is fine but sometimes feels a bit much to be having on a daily basis. Garlic aside my teen daughter had been picking up bugs here and there and since taking these has been feeling a bit more well in herself generally so I think there are benefits to taking them which I guess on balance makes the garlic more palatable.

These capsules are just basically the equivalent of taking natural garlic and are far more expensive. I cannot see any benefits with these that I can’t get from garlic alone. The smell is really strong when you first open the packet and the after taste is also strong. I certainly needed a few mints to try and hide the smell on my breath. I prefer my capsules to be odourless and tasteless and these fall short on both of these.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful, pure garlic supplement alternative of its most active ingredient
I’ve been a firm believer in the restorative and protective properties of garlic for a long time, and regularly consume it. However, raw garlic isn’t for everybody so it’s great to try this high strength supplement of garlic’s most active ingredient, allicillin. Even for me there’s times when it’s impractical to eat garlic so I’ve been taken regular garlic supplements, but appreciate the specialisation here for its (probably enhanced) antiviral and antibacterial properties (especially with it stated as being the strongest allicillin supplement on the market).Capsules are perhaps a little larger than usual, but for me still easily swallowed, However, there is a taste, and it’s quite distinctive – not unpleasant (and probably unavoidable considering the ingredient), but noticeable. However, it shouldn’t stop anyone from taking these as the capsules are only in the mouth for seconds and the taste doesn’t linger. As far as I’m concerned the potential health benefits far outweigh it. Filler is rice flour (so no magnesium stearate of silicon dioxide), which I much prefer.I wouldn’t take these exclusively in place of raw garlic as I believe that all the elements in raw garlic work best synergistically, but I have no problem taking these to supplement it when need be. As such, the 30p per day (at the recommended one-capsule-per-day and current pricing) is a reasonable health assurance. The supplement will likely be most beneficial in the winter when colds tend to be more common, but certainly it can be used for a healthful boost now and again.For me this is an excellent garlic alternative. I’m completely sold on the benefits of garlic anyway, and this only adds to it.

I have tried repeatedly to review how beneficial this supplement has been for me but Bolo won't post. So I can't be too specific other than to say that these are A+++ and have worked for me.I wanted these for immunity and anti fungal properties and am feeling the benefits.They do smell of garlic on opening the pouch and when taking, but that is it. There is no aftertaste or repeat, so they are digested very easily and the tab is small.I recommend this supplement based on my personal experience.

I have tried allicin products before but the other brand kept going off in the heat before I've had a chance to use the product. When I came across Allicillin Extra Strength I thought I'd try a this one and see if it works better.The capsules are the size of standard supplements and are easy to swallow. When opening the packet the smell of garlic is very strong, even before I'd opened the seal I could smell garlic. Surprisingly the aftertaste isn't too bad, it does taste a bit garlicky initially but it doesn't bother me.I like to take allicin when I have a cold or illness to get over it quicker. I thought I'd try one yesterday when they arrived as I had a lingering sore throat. To my surprise after taking just one of these capsules it reduced significantly. This gives me coincidence that it will work well for me. I will update how it worked during a cold when the time comes but so far I am pleased with this supplement.So far I would recommend these, they are quite expensive for just a two month supply but seem to work well.
