    After being ripped off on Ebay for fakes I bought these instead. These are the genuine UKing ones. Very bright. Tight 3 degree beam but when the prism kicks in wow what a difference.

    If using dmx these are amazing for the moneyI compared these side by side with the adj pocket pro - these were brighter and 1/3 of the price !!!Downside - the programing,1. when using the inbuilt programs they will randomly strobe, not good in someone's eyes if they have epilepsy.2. No forward facing only mode - meaning if you have them on a booth shelf you'll be blinded half the time when the lights face you.That all said , if your using moving heads you should be using dmx anyway so this shouldn't be an issue.

    This disco light is too complex for my knowledge at the moment but I am slowly learning all its tricks.As it comes with UK mains plug power cable and a remote control, the setup is pretty straight forward and you can easily get it running but this disco light seems professional therefore you will require some knowledge or learning what it can do if you want to take the most out of it.The light effects are fantastic and cheerful even without music, they do change the ambient and have lots of different effects and colours.I really like that it can be ceiling mounted as it gets the best spot because in this way it can cover the whole area for a mesmerising lights effect without me having to place it on the floor somewhere.The whole device feels very sturdy and a bit heavy for its size which makes me believe that it was well buildOverall this disco light is just amaizing, I really like to use it but I am still learning.

    The media could not be loaded. The light came securely packed, and was supplied with a mains lead, remote control and a spare battery for the remote.This is a serious bit of disco lighting kit, it has so much technology involved, it’s beyond me at the moment, but I’m sure I will figure it out.I plan to use this at our military squadron functions/ parties discos etc, and hopefully connect it to a computer to run the light show, although the remote that comes with it will allow me to do that at the moment, as the light has an integrated microphone, to pick up sound and converts to a light show.The instructions that come with it don’t explain a lot, I think it’s designed for people that already know the art of disco lighting, but I’m sure there is some videos on the internet that will help.The light is fully mountable, either on the floor or ceiling, it could even be mounted on a lighting frame.The light unit comes with two lenses, that can be screwed in, one gives you a single projection, the other 3. I prefer using the 3.The light show is fantastic, the colours are really vivid, even in bright conditions. I have only just played around with it at the moment, as parties/discos and other functions aren’t allowed because of COVID restrictions, but that will give me time to be more proficient at it, when the time comes.

    The "Heal Light", as the instruction leaflet calls it comes with a IEC Mains Lead which is only fit for the bin as you will see it has a sleeved earth pin which is not permitted (the lamp base metalwork is earthed). The thin lead also has a 13 amp fuse. Replace the lead with a quality one fitted with the correct size fuse.The lamp comes with two lenses but be prepared to take several minutes changing them as the threaded lens mount is of poor quality and it is very difficult to get the lens going in straight.The lamp is a DMX512 device with in and out socket as well as having a microphone for sound activation.It also comes with a remote which works quite well and the lamp has a LED display for setup.In standby the lamp uses just over 11 watts and when active between 80 and 90 watts.The light pattern effects are pretty good and it makes little noise from its motors.Alas I don't have any other DMX512 devices so have not used that but have used the microphone activation which seems to need quite loud music for activation.The instruction leaflet gives you information which I assume relates to the DMX512 and the menu options including if it is 9Ch or 11Ch.
