    To start I nearly returned these as the little plastic box they came in arrived damaged with a small crack in the plastic, doesn't affect the product so I thought id give them a test...All I can say is these are fantastic. They cut like a hot knife through melted butter, they are incredibly smooth, there is no resistance on the sprues I am cutting at all which is a shock coming from the expensive citadel (Games Workshop) sprue cutters I have been using. Even the hoppy knife I have with a fresh blade is not as smooth as these. The spring weight to me seems perfect as well.I am thoroughly impressed by these and recommend them highly!I will update this review if I have any issues with them in the future.

    The 'WISEPRO Model Nipper, with Ultra-Thin Single-Edge Plastic Model Tools' arrived in a branded case.These are a nice pair of small cutters, which I can easily hold in my hand. They give a nice clean cut, and are good for trimming up, as they cut flush.I did note these are for plastics and some soft metals; I would not be tempted to use them on anything harder as I have seen cutters break before and it is surprise how far the broken jaw can fly.The 'leather' protector is a nice feature; it not only protects the jaws of the cutters, but also my hands from being stabbed when retrieving them from a group of tools.I am not sure of the purpose of the empty bottle, I assume it is so I can part fill with machine oil to allow for lubrication of the cutters joint if needed.

    I have a confession: I have been using a pair of cuticle clippers as nippers! They work reasonably well, but it's always better to have the correct tool These nippers are great: sharp, strong and precise. They come in a box with a dropper bottle and a (real) leather sheath for the head. The nippers also have a limit rod and limit adjustment screw that allow for precision cutting: a feature of good quality nippers.If you're into model making or fine jewellery making, these are ideal nippers. At the price (£22.69 at time of writing) they are substantially cheaper than other nippers with similar feature. Recommended!
