    I was after a backlit mechanical alternative for the Apple Magic Keyboard and this fits the bill. Very compact size and nice feel to the keys - not too loud despite having ‘clicky’ key switches. Two Bluetooth settings allow easy pairing with both my MacBook and iPad. Early days but battery life seems good and has USB-C charging which doubles as a wired USB connection. The front feet have two heights of tilt.

    It has a really small footprint on my desk, and the keys feel really responsive so that you know you have typed the letter as you proceed.

    This by far is one of the better sounding and feeling mechanical keyboards that I have purchased. The keycaps have a very nice quality feeling to them and the sound is satisfying but now loud. I managed to get to my usual typing speed within a day or two and have been using them non stop since. a great purchase and would certainly recomment.

    I am a bit of a mechanical keyboard connoisseur, so was very excited to try out my first low profile mechanical keyboard. It looks very modern and sleek with the low profile aluminium top frame and black and grey keys. The keys being low profile are flat on the top, which takes a bit of getting used to coming from cherry profile keys. The keys are made from what feels like ABS and are a little thin and smooth compared to most PBT keycaps on modern mechanical keyboards.The switches are browns and feel and sound similar to cherry browns, just with a higher activation point and less travel. They feel pretty good for typing on, but don't expect any 'thock' from them as there is no room for any foam or other sound altering mods in this tiny case. They're much better than any membrane keyboard though and I am sure this would make a great keyboard to take to work to use instead of the crusty membrane boards. The nice compact size, low profile and fairly quiet switches will also be a benefit here.The back lighting is great for low light use and doesn't look too overpowering thanks to the fine legend font. You can also turn it off if LEDs aren't for you and the shine through legends just look like normal white printed legends.Overall It is a very nice keyboard if you want something compact for travel or work, or just fancy a low profile keyboard that feels far better than a membrane.

    Well made keyboard combining premium materials in an impressive form factor. I have a number of keyboards, but my daily driver is a Logitech MX Keys Mini, and it would be impossible to review this product without comparing the two. For the most part, the SM1 is a direct copy, but surprisingly, this keyboard stacks up well against it's inspiration, and at a 50% lower price.Switches are a nice clicky brown, though I cannot identify the manufacturer. Good feel and reliable actuation. Louder and more feel than the Logitech board, but not annoying. Downward firing LED backlights work well. Switches are not replaceable, but this is not unusual for low profile switches, and the Logitech board does not have this feature either. Caps are nicely shaped with a legend much like the Logi board. I actually prefer the Satechi caps, but it's a matter of personal preference.Features are solid, with lots of actually useful media / function keys. LED lighting is solid, goes off after a couple of minutes, and comes back on (along with the rest of the keyboard) instantly on key press. The Logitech has a proximity sensor, but frankly it does not work correctly, and tends to keep the board awake and lit much longer than it should.The case is fantastic. Really low profile and high quality materials with most of the visible surfaces being aluminium. More of the case is aluminium on this board than on the Logitech, and it's smaller overall. Genuinely one the smallest and nicest cases I have seen.Despite my love for this keyboard, I do have a few issues. Firstly, the layout is not ideal for me. The keyboard has a US legend, and uses an ANSI layout. Easily fixed, but clearly this is not designed for the UK. I also dislike the position of the light configuration button. Because you don't need to use the F key, it's easy to press accidentally, and frankly while the light patterns are nice to have, it's very annoying to have to cycle back to the one I like.Overall though, this is a high quality board, which I would recommend.

    Satechi es una marca de Calidad, y sin duda sabía que no me iban a decepcionar. El teclado viene en Ingles, esta marca NUNCA hace o hará teclados en Español. Escogí el blanco con gris y muy contento pues la teclas no se ensucian con la clásica grasa de los dedos, por lo que estoy feliz.Lo mejor es que siente muy bien cuando se escribe! Casi como el Nuphy Air 75. No se le pide mas a este teclado, muy bien. Trabaja bien tanto en Windows como en MacOS.

    Bought a number of these for myself and others.Works well on Macs, Linux and Windows machinesUses either a wired or 2.4 GHZ USB with included receiver as well as up to two Blue Tooth profiles selected with hotkeys so it can be connected to 4 separate devices at once.Extra KeyCaps for Windows Mode or Mac mode Included.Multiple backlight modes also selectable with hotkeys (Like 15 different modes I believe, though I usually just use one mode of all keys backlit with no breathing or fading on and off. Ie Continuously lit)I carry it with me at all times... Excellent unit.

    I'm used to using a full size keyboard with numpad and everything so moving from that to this compact sized keyboard took a little work to get used to the new layout. Once I did though, I really started to like this keyboard.Being fairly small, it is much easier to travel with, especially nice being able to fit it into my backpack along with my laptop. Really nice size for travelling. The quality of the keyboard in terms of build is pretty good. It is sturdy and stays taught when you try and bend it in any way. I think this is because of the metal in the base of the keyboard. The keycaps are nice, I like look of the low profile. I actually found that I made less mistakes on this low profile keyboard compared to my normal full size keyboard. I do wish they included some extra keycaps, maybe the ones so you could turn the keyboard all one colour.One thing I noticed was that my caps key and spacebar LED light is a warm white colour while all the rest of the keys are a cool white colour. I don't know if that is a defect or on purpose. I would have preferred that all the keys were the same backlight colour. I do enjoy the various backlight patterns available but I usually just default to the always on look.Overall, I'm really enjoying using this keyboard for when I travel and need to do work. Bonus that is has three options to connect to your computer and that it can work with both Mac and PC no problem. They give you a couple keycaps to swap if you will be using this with a PC. It is a very solid and reliable keyboard. Impressed!
