    The media could not be loaded. What a treat it was to test out this disco ball! It’s actually quite funny because I saw one of these on a TV show I was watching (Amanda and Alan’s Italian job, in case you were wondering) and Amanda Holden insisted on putting one of these disco ball lights in her new ensuite bathroom. Then lo and behold, the next day I had the chance to test this out.Well, what can I say? It’s fun and funky. It turns any room into a mini nightclub. Its spin speed can be varied with the dial on the front. There are LEDs on the base, which then reflect onto the ball and get scattered around the room. It can stand or be hung, run off a USB cable or with batteries (you would need to buy).It is bound to bring out the laughs and can definitely spruce up a dull room and add a talking point as you dance around. That said, this one does seem a bit a basic in the way it’s made and I’m not sure that it would hold up as a permanent fixture for a long time.Overall, fun and a good laugh, but I’m not sure you would want it fixed all the time to your ceiling and your budget may have to be bigger if you want a full-on fancypants disco ball.

    This disco ball is absolutely brilliant! It can be controlled by mains powered or 3x AA batteries, comes with lights that reflect onto the mirrored ball and are then displayed around the room.It is very easy to use, adds fun to any room/celebration/party and is creates a great effect without being overbearing. This is due to the ball only doing between 5 to 9 rotations per minute depending on your personal preference.There is also a hook so you can hang it from the ceiling to create a real disco feel, or if you prefer you can use it in a tabletop fashion on the stand.My daughter loves this and has nabbed it for her room!It is a bit on the pricey side at £30, 99, and that would put me off slightly. However, the product itself is great and I am happy to recommend it.
