It's not 1cm thick, only 8mm at the thickest part and about 7mm on the flat parts. Other than that, they are what you would expect.

On opening, my first impression was that the pieces were a lot thinner than I expected. However, when assembled on a concrete surface it was surprisingly comfortable as an exercise mat.Easy to assemble, simply pull off the edges of the mats to create the shape you want. Small squares, large square or rectangle. Once together, I discovered I have a square missing; there are only 19 squares in my pack. I laughingly tried to piece the left over edges together but that was never going to work!Packs away in a bag quite neatly and it was then that it hit me, the smell! Maybe because it had been out in the sun (only about 10 mins) but the only way I can describe the smell is, incredibly stinky socks. No idea why but it's out the house and in the shed until it wears off. When the weather cools down I'll try it again outside to air it out.Not an overly successful venture. I expected more for just under £40.

I needed a soft floor space for my little nephews play room!They appear to be of good quality. They are lightweight, making them easy to manoeuvre, and they have slightly increased in thickness after being unpacked. They assemble with ease. The flooring features a pattern, but aligning it might be challenging if that’s something you’re particular about. The edge pieces finish it off nicelyThey are a great addition to a living space for kiddies to play, a gym space or even in your garage. I can recommend them especially at the price.The current price of £24.99 seems comparable to similar products on the market, and there’s also a £2 promotion at the moment.

These tiles arrived wrapped in a plain cellophane wrapper, with no branding, instructions or information.To be fair, none are needed. They're very straightforward to use.There are 20 tiles altogether and they operate like a stack of interlocking jigsaw pieces. Any piece can be used as a middle or edge piece, as every one has two removable edges.This means you can be really flexible in the way you use them. They can either create one large rectangle or multiple smaller ones. You could even create a single square, if you borrow the two edges from another piece.They're not massively thick but give enough padding to create a soft surface, without protruding from the floor to an excessive amount, avoiding any potential trip hazard. The raised surface is great as a way to prevent slippage. Being a plain black colour, you could use them in pretty much any room, garage or shed.At £24.99, at time of ordering, I think they're great value given the flexibility of use.
