The lamp is surely very effective and versatile making it a very recommended item especially when like now it is well under £20. But when the price is higher and with a clip that is basic at best I feel that 4 stars are already a good score

The LED light comes in packed in a box along with the USB charger cable, few other parts to mount and a manual.What's good about the item:1) The LEDs work and offer Cool/Warm/Mixed white light2) It comes in with a built-in battery which is very handy3) Buttons are all on the side, and charge-indicator on the back were all noticeable.What's not so great about the item:1) Plastic looked and felt quite cheap, I wasn't sure how long this product would last.2) Many moving parts included some didn't make sense to fit, but managed to get there in the end, wasn't sure if it could've been easier to have them combined into one to make it a versatile item instead?3) LED intensity is not that bright, it works nicely for about 75cm distance.4) The Battery doesn't last that long, about an hour and then needed charging.5) The price was a little higher than others out there.Overall, the item worked, I wasn't super impressed by it, but wasn't bad after all.

This is a super useful small LED light that I’ve used on my camcorder and my iPhone.For the iPhone you have an adapter that clamps onto the iPhone. The grip is sturdy, so no worries of the light falling off when in use and you are moving the iPhone about.For my Sony ZV1 camcorder there is another adapter supplied with the light that is a 1/4-20 screw mount to cold show adapter. This allows the light to sit into the cold shoe of any camera that has one or any type of mounting system that uses a cold shoe.The light has 4 selectable brightness levels and also 3 levels for colour temperature. Between the light levels and colour temperature presets, the light is really useful in a number of lighting environments for close object filming.The light is awesome for some fill light when vlogging and is great for shooting close up product shots.

The electronics are great - bright light and lovely colour options that are easy to swap between. It works great as a detail light for selfies and portraits with a phone. Very good for improving lighting and shadows on video calls too.The only downside is that I found the plastic on the mount to be a little thin and brittle. My daughter snapped one of the clips after only a few uses. But I was able to work around it by showing her another way to attach it. So that's unfortunate and the manufacture of the casing isn't quite up to the quality of the light.But overall it's still a good value. You just need to have a little care when mounting it.
