I recently gave up on my Logi MX Ergo trackball for two reasons - the soft touch coating had degraded over time, and I had never found it super comfortable to use. When looking at replacements I saw the ProtoArc trackballs and assumed they would be cheap knock-offs of Logi products. After taking a gamble on the EM01, I was wrong.The EM01 feels well built and the trackball moves VERY smoothly, even smoother than I remember the MX Ergo to be. The click action is a little mushy/quiet but I prefer that as it makes left and right clicking less fatiguing. It also feels like it fits the shape of my hand slightly better than the MX Ergo.It has a soft touch area like the MX Ergo and time will tell if this will share the same fate after a couple of years of use, but with it costing about 40% less than an Ergo I wouldn't mind just buying a replacement when the time comes.Small cons: the scroll wheel and middle button actions feel a touch stiff to me, but not enough to be a deal breaker. Would also have been nice to have an companion app for customising button/key stroke combos or syncing settings across devices, but again not a deal breaker.Very impressed overall.

I bought this and 2 others to replace my Logitech M570. This is a weighty product, and, was the most expensive that I ordered. It was however, a lot cheaper than the Logitech replacement. Overall, the packaging from this company is amazing, and the trackball did exactly what it's supposed to do. I did find that the resolution change didn't really do a lot, but other than that, It worked fine. One thing I noted was that the ribbing on the palm rest section started to affect the comfort of my hand after 10 mins of use. The other disappointing thing was that you needed it tilted all the time as the non-tilted position was too flat and very uncomfortable, making the tilted position nothing but a gimmick. The thing I found a little confusing was the lack of grip the base had, not just compared to the others but akin to a plastic cup. It had the largest, by a large margin, rubber surface area of all the trackballs I had, including the logitech, but, while all the others had a similar feel of sturdiness, this had no grip at all.Overall a great trackball, but I did return it in favour of something else from this company.

Nicely packed. Immediately after unboxing connected through BT with Android on Samsung Galaxy A54. Comfortable for one's hand, working in any position, lying in bed. Beautiful design. I never understood why trackballs are less popular than mice, happy I can use it now with my Android devices.

ProtoArc EM01 NL Wireless Bluetooth Trackball MouseI was somewhat hesitant when ordering as I have never used a trackball before.Upon unboxing I was greeted with what appears to be a well manufactured device.Straight out of the box.It paired up immediately after plugging the USB dongle. However I stopped there to fully charge using the included USB-C cable. Charging didn't take long at all.Using this does take some getting used to, especially as I've been a standard mouse user since windows 3.With some practice I am amazed how fast I can navigate around the desktop with absloute prescision.There are a couple of features I would never use as I'm not a PC gamer, but nice to have.You can use this flat as standard or it can be adjusted to be on an angle, which for me personally, makes it easier to use with less of the aching thumb.I use this connected to the included wireless USB dongle, but you can connect using bluetooth, also just to note if you connect using the dongle then you can also connect to 2 other devices using the bluetooth feature, you can swap between the devices using the button on the ProtoArc EM01 NL Wireless Bluetooth Trackball Mouse to change between connection 1, 2 or 3.Full of features and even though in my eyes priced on the heavy side, worth having .5 Stars ✨ & Recommended.

Overall I'm very happy with the purchase,it does everything I wanted it,the non slip pad on the bottom are great, however the fact that there is no click on the mouse buttons make it feel less responsive as there is no real indicator that you have pressed the button,I know this is a deliberate feature,but it just seems like a broken mouse when the buttons don't click even though it works great...But don't let that detract from an otherwise great mouse...And it's pretty good with golden tee golf on MAME too.

This is the first time I've used a trackball mouse and never realised how useful they are.It's way larger than a standard mouse! I've only got small hands that don't completely cover it so wondered if I would have difficulty, but with a bit of practice hand size wasn't an issue. It just took a bit of getting use to having to use my thumb over the trackball to move across the page. I'm getting much better at it though.Initially I used it just in the evening when I'd finished my work and was leisurely browsing till I got more used to it, but now I can use it all the time even when busy with work without slowing down and it's been well worth the changeover.It's really well made and you can use it at an angle if you prefer, and it allows connection via wireless (which I used initially) or Bluetooth which I'm currently using as it allows me to switch to use on tablet or phone if needed. It comes with instructions but it really is just plug and play.The scroll wheel works well and smoothly, as do the top left and right click pads. It has 2 small buttons on the left side for going back and forth, though because of my small hands I had to make sure my hand was positioned right in order for my thumb to reach the topmost side button. They could have been made a bit larger in my opinion but not that big of a deal.You can alter the DPI speed of the cursor, and all works smoothly. It's perfect for people who don't have much desk space to move a mouse around. Best of all it's rechargeable so no worries about batteries.Really chuffed with this now I've got used to it, and wish I'd tried a trackball years ago.
Buena calidad, cumple con lo que se espera.
Es un mouse de trackball de muy buena calidad. Yo estaba usando el Logi ERGO M575 por casi 5 años, pero empezó a dar problemas con sensibilidad de los botones, mala recepcion y se empezó a pelar la parte donde se apoya la muñeca. Desgaste normal. Cuando busque el reemplazo, me decidi por este ProtoArc, principalmente por precio. En casi todo lo demas son muy parecidos.PROS: es de buena calidad. Se puede conectar por 4G USB (adaptador incluido) o por Bluetooth. Botones silenciosos. Puede conectarse a 3 dispositivos. Se siente muy similar al Logi ERGO, si es que lo venian ya usando. Puede configurarse a distintos DPI, por lo que no solo funciona para trabajo, sino que puede dar batalla en juegos tambien. Se puede angular a 0º o 20º para mas ergonomia. La carga es via USB 3.0, que practicamente es ya un estandar para todo. El empaque es como de producto premium... no importa mucho, pero desde ahi se ve calidad. Diseño: se ve bien y no se siente "barato". En general, es un muy buen trackball.CONTRAS: la base no es removible fácil como la del Logi ERGO, eso podria ser un problema a la hora de limpiarlo. Los botones no son configurables mas allá de lo que permita Windows (o el sistema operativo que usen)... gran diferencia del Logi ERGO que permitia incluso perfiles de botones por aplicacion.En general es muy buena alternativa al Logi ERGO a un precio mas bajo, salvo que busquen configurar botones de una manera muy particular para distintas aplicaciones. YO si lo recomiendo bastante por la relacion calidad/funcion/precio
ProtoArc wireless trackball mouse, EMO1 NL is AWESOME!
Very well built, comfortable, and works great! Well worth the price.I've had a Logitech M570 for years and it worked good but this new ProtoArc blows it out of the water.I don't think there is a single thing about it that I don't like.It tilts from 0 to 20 degrees making it very comfortable. It also has adjustable DPI for custom cursor movment. Silent clicking, Very smooth control, Page up/down buttons, and a nice scroll wheel. (No it's not silent but it's not noisy either. It has a slight clicking sound.Another feature is something that I really like and haven't noticed anyone posting about. If you push down on the wheel, you can scroll up or down, fast or slow depending on how you move the track ball.I used that feature a lot with my old mouse and was happy to see that this mouse does that.The last thing I want to mention is that my old mouse took a AA battery. This one is rechargable.I love it!
Helps with wrist pain
Great mouse, feels heavy and of good build quality. I like that you can have it flat or tilt it slightly to the right, so you have two options for how you prefer your hand to sit.It's helped with my carpal tunnel/wrist pain from office work. Obviously you can't play shooters with such a mouse, but I use it for non shooter games, and it's been great to be able to do both office work and (most) gaming without pain.The ball rolls smoothly and I found it quick to adjust to the new way of using the mouse. If anything, it feels weird to use a classic mouse now - you can really feel how much your arm/wrist moves, whereas with a trackball mouse you don't need to move your arm at all.Edit: 1.5 months later, the ball did get a bit less smooth moving. I popped it out (pushing the back of a pencil into the hole at the bottom beneath the trackball is a super easy way to do it), cleaned it's recepticle, popped it back in. Took 2 minutes and now it's back to perfect smooth movement. I think you must do this somewhat regularly to keep dust/gunk from slowing the trackball. It was quick and the mouse still works great, so I don't mind it at all.

Cercavo da tempo un mouse trackball dopo averne provati diversi ho finalmente trovato QUELLO DEFINITIVO è solido e pesante, non si muove grazie al peso e alla sua comoda copertura antiscivolo, la sfera ruota con una precisione impressionante, si regola facilmente e rispetta ogni canone per essere un top di gamma, i materiali usati restituiscono una bellissima sensazione di alta qualità e piacere al tatto, i tasti sono silenziosi e precisi, la rotella ha un bellissimo sistema antiscivolo che aiuta nella precisione di scorrimento, si può connettere con 3 periferiche di cui due Bluetooth e trasmette correttamente ogni movimento della sfera e dei tasti, la velocità del puntatore si regola attraverso due comodissimi tasti messi vicino al pollice.Questo Mouse Trackball costa la metà dei blasonati ma non ha nulla di meno.....anzi in alcuni casi anche di più.Dopo averlo provato per un po' ho deciso di comprarne uno per l'ufficio dove ora lavoro sentendo molto meno la stanchezza della mano ed è insostituibile su scrivania con poco posto.Questo fantastico compagno di lavoro e svago ha anche una comodissima funzione di inclinazione per rendere ancora più comodo e riposante.Ultima cosa ma non meno importante è la bellezza di questo oggetto che rende la vostra scrivania ancora più elegante e piacevole
