This cream was ordered for somebody suffering from mild eczema on their cheek. She is allergic to urea which appears in many products like this, so she finds it difficult to find appropriate treatments. It was great to come across this cream and see that it contains no unnecessary ingredients, also important because it’s to be applied to the face.It has quite a thick consistency so only small amounts are needed for application, which is thankfully easy enough to achieve with a gentle press of the pump. It is easily absorbed by the skin (assuming you use an appropriate amount) and leaves no unpleasant residue, which is not something that can be said for many other skin creams.It’s soothing and refreshing on itchy patches, helping to keep them moisturised and reducing symptoms and inflammation over time. It remains to be seen whether the cream is capable of removing the issue entirely, but in any case, it does a good job of relieving symptoms and keeps it from getting any worse.At £14.99 at the time of ordering, I feel this is a reasonable price. Only a small amount of cream is needed so should last for some time despite being a fairly small bottle. It’s one of the few products around designed for sensitive skin and omits ingredients such as urea. It’s effective at providing relief.

I've recently started suffering with dry, itchy eyelids and have been trying to find a cream to relieve my symptoms. Being a sensitive skin area it needed to be a mild cream as some can be too harsh to use around the eyes either making them water, burn or are not suitable to use on the thin layer of eyelid skin.This brand has a rich history dating back nearly 90 years and heralds its origins in Italy. The cream has a mild formula made with 95% natural ingredients meaning it can be used on sensitive skin. The cream has a thin consistency meaning it is absorbed by the skin easily without it leaving it feeling greasy. Because of its formula a little goes a long way so be careful not to press the pump too much if you only need to treat a small area.For the past week I’ve been using cream daily as required and it’s given me relief of dry, scaly and itchy eyelids without causing any irritation. Because of its light composition I’ve been able to use it at night time without the fear of waking up in the morning with the feeling my eyelids are glued together.The price seems on par with similar products for treating eczema, psoriasis and other dry itchy skin conditions. Because of its thin formular a little goes a long way and for using on my eyelids a 100ml bottle will last a long time, so represents good value.

I suffer from an itchy back which gets worse with central heating. I can pump this onto the back of my hand and reach those areas that are badly affected and I find it does help. It is thick and spreads well so should last a long time.Really happy that it is made in Italy mostly from natural ingredients and I figure if it is gentle enough for a child its gentle enough for my sensitive skin.

I have suffered from itchy dry skin for years, which often breaks out into spells of eczema. I have tried a lot of creams, but many just give temporary relief and most tend to be quite greasy and unpleasant to use.This, on the other hand, is a nice light cream, something between a cream and a lotion, which rubs into the skin easily. It has a very light pleasant smell, which I like a lot - not heavy fragrance, just a nice light scent.I also love the fact that it is in a pump action bottle, so you just remove the seal on the pump and press the top down and you get measured amounts of cream - no mess at all, as you can get exactly the amount you need.I am going to continue using this cream, especially on my shoulders and chest where the eczema tends to break out as it keeps my skin hydrated all day and so far after using it I have had no itching, which is fantastic.I will definitely buy this in future, especially because I like supporting family businesses and ones in the UK and EU (and this cream is made in Milan, Italy).

We quite like this 1936 Original Crema Di Matteo Cream, I ordered it for my daughter who has eczema patches appear now and again. It's easy to use, applies and gets absorbent quickly and leaves skin soft and less itchy. My daughter has had no ill reactions to it so we are pleased. It has a light scent and a texture more like a lotion, but we like that. Overall, good cream and would recommend it.

This cream stands out because of its texture, which absorbs into the skin effortlessly without feeling heavy. I particularly like using it after walks with friends - it helps me relax and pamper myself. Plus, it's gentle enough for my children's skin, which brings me peace of mind knowing it works well for them too.

This is a pleasant feeling lotion with a slight odour which is quite nice. It is cool when you apply it and covers quite nicely and dries in fairly quickly. Unfortunately though, it has made no difference whatsoever to the eczema on my leg which is as red and itchy as always.I guess it might work for some people but I wouldn't be ordering this again as I felt no benefit at all.I also think it is quite expensive for a relatively small bottle.

I have never comes across this cream before and I have tried many from topical steroids to all kinds of moisturisers.This one is a fairly small bottle, but the cream is easily pumped out of the bottle, no aerosols here. It has a good consistency and on my psoriasis it was absorbed really quickly. i have found with other creams after a flare, they can actually sting to apply. I suffered no ill effects with this cream though and it cooled the flaring area really nicely. It does a good job at moisturising too, the easy absorption making the flaky areas less dry and in turn less itchy so it’s pretty effective. I do warn you though there is an odour and it’s quite strong but it’s not unpleasant so can be largely ignored.So first impressions on the cream are very good and I will use it again. A little goes a long way so i think the bottle should last a while.
