This was an easy install for my MIL. The side mirror folds in and goes pretty flush against the wall. Easy to flip around for the magnified look versus the regular. The black goes really well with the color of the vanity. The extension arm appears to be secured so this should be a good mirror for quite a while.

This was easy to install and makes my bathroom look so nice. What a nice upgrade! It makes my bathroom feel luxurious like a hotel. I love this addition that I made.
Large, Sturdy, Clear Mirror; Somewhat Stiff and Very Heavy
This is a very large, heavy, sturdy construction. The mirrors are crystal clear and clean. The construction materials are very nice -- you can clearly feel that this will last and I am particularly happy with the little nuts that you use to attach the mirror to the mounting plate, as they are solidly constructed, easy to remove and easy to screw back on. Even if you did have to use a pair of pliers to remove them (which you don't) it doesn't look like they will scratch and mar the look of your mirror. Nice detail. The 10x mirror (oh my) will let you see every flaw on your skin. As the instruction manual warns you, if you look at the 10x mirror from too far away, "it might feel stun."Installation is pretty self-explanatory, which is good as the user manual is challenging. They do warn you not to "put the mirror on the oblique objects", which I gather is intended to mean to put it on a flat surface. Good advice as it is a mirror. I was unsure if they meant while trying to install or if they meant not to install on an uneven or curved surface. I picked a flat wall to install it on to be safe.On the downside, it is very heavy. There is no way that I feel safe using the included anchors. This is exacerbated by how stiff the movement is of the arms. Definitely invest in some heavy duty anchors if you are installing on drywall and not into a stud.I'm a little concerned about the warning to "store this mirror in a dry and cool place." It is sold as a bathroom mirror. My bathrooms are neither cool nor dry after a shower. I am hoping this was just a copy and paste from another set of instructions. Other than that, with better anchors and smoother movement, this would have gotten this 5 stars easily for the price. Solid design, clear image.
Solidly Built Wall Mount with Great Magnification
This articulated wall mounted, dual-sided mirror by Kiavox is a great addition to any bathroom and helps to free up counter space. We'd seen a similar version of this while on a trip and found it to be a very practical and functional mirror for all kinds of bathroom applications. The dual-sided mirror features a 10X magnification on one side but from the packaging, it appears that there are other versions available in 5X or 7X. The 10X reflects incredible detail and you'll probably notice things on your face that you weren't previously aware of! The glass quality is very good for the price and the overall build of the frame is solid. The motion of the arms is smooth and tight and it folds up neatly against the wall if you need it out of the way. The installation is very simple only requiring 2 screws to mount the base plate. Although this comes with wall anchors for mounting practically anywhere, if possible it's worth the extra effort to locate a stud for a more solid mount. I was able to do this in our bathroom and having the articulated arms still allows for good positioning. Unlike some, this one doesn't include a light which on the plus side means no loose cord but on the negative side you'll need to rely on your bathroom lighting for illumination. I played around with the positioning and found that the ceiling lighting was enough to reflect back off the mirror to provide ample lighting. Considering its form and function along with the current price of $29.99, I'll give this 5 stars.
Works and looks great!
Very easy to install. Minimal effort. Looks great in our black hardware bathroom. Magnification works well but I rarely use it. Good quality. Wish it was lighted though.
