5.0 out of 5 stars The kids and grown ups enjoy this!
The media could not be loaded. Really good quality toy cars, I didn't expect them to be built as well as they are so on this occasion yes I think they're worth the money! The wheels are even rubber! They can turn brilliantly too and the kids (and dad) love that whoever bumpers to win the other opponents head falls off 🤣 my 3 year old finds this hilarious! Excellent fun toy, the cars come with 2 chargers for each car however the remotes require 2 AA batteries 🔋 so bare that in mind! They start with the most annoying music! Although fear not, this can be switched off thankfully! Which probably saves battery too! Great buy
4.0 out of 5 stars Great Fun
This twin pack of remote control cars are great fun. The cars themselves seem decent enough quality and have music and lights which is a great feature. Easy to set up and there are batteries included which is handy. A great price for these a would make a great gift.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and engaging toy
These remote control cars are a hit with the kids. They love the dynamic music and LED lights, which add to the fun. The collision feature, where the robot ejects from the driver’s seat, keeps them entertained for hours. Setting up the cars is straightforward, and the included batteries mean you can start playing right away. It’s a fantastic gift for young children, offering high playability and encouraging interaction.
5.0 out of 5 stars Loads of fun!
This is a great laugh and has been a really fun activity for me and the lad. The cars are built pretty well and obviously as the target of the game is to bash into eachother this is a good thing! They control well and the battery lasts a decent amount. We’ve had a load of fun with these and they would make a great gift! I do echo others comments about the annoying music but that’s not a deal breaker! :)Great toy!
4.0 out of 5 stars Smooth driving of flat surface, cars struggle to turn quickly
The media could not be loaded. This set of racing cars offers decent quality and provides some enjoyable moments. With two cars and two remote controls included, it's a convenient package. Each car features a rechargeable battery, easily powered up via the supplied USB-A cable with a specialized connector.Pairing the remote control with the car is a breeze, with near-instantaneous synchronization. However, while the car performs admirably on smooth surfaces and even artificial grass, it struggles when faced with obstacles. One notable drawback is its poor turning capability. Attempting to turn while driving forward proves challenging, often requiring ample space or a complete stop before manoeuvring.Overall, it's a satisfactory toy, neither exceptional nor disappointing but I still think it kids will find lots of fun driving those cars. Improved turning efficiency would have certainly elevated its rating.
5.0 out of 5 stars Remote controller bumper game
These remote control cars are much better than I thought they would be. They seem to be built fairly well, and the controllers work without issue. The in built music is a bit annoying and very loud, I wish the music was not on by default. The little people which slot into the cars can be ejected by bumping into the side of the car where there is a push button on each side to release them. The cars can then battle and the players try to hit into the side of the other car to eject that players driver. It is really good fun, I have had a great time playing the game with the kids.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great for kids
2x battle cars, a few bits that are expected to get bashed off, basic functionality with backwards, forwards on one stalk, left/right on the other. No issues with communication between handset and the car itself.Strange why there would be a rechargeable battery on the car but normal batteries in the handset..although significantly more longevity with the handset re power used.Good size. Also a marginal pain to recharge batteries as this need the cover to be unscrewed to get to the charging unit.
3.0 out of 5 stars Doesn’t quite do it for us
These cars do have some pretty good features and there are positives. They go pretty fast and do bump each other well. Setting them up was easy and you can get straight into the fun.But after a while a few annoyances pop up. The music comes from both cars and can’t be turned off. And you will want to turn it off. And once the batteries are brained you have to remove them to charge them. It’s not the biggest issue but just feels like it’s cutting I’d rather avoid. The car controls well. The wheels don’t turn left and right but rather it controls like a tank. This actually makes it more fun to battle this way. It’s a decent set but I can’t say I’d ever buy it. It’s a decent price if the annoyances don’t bother you but for me I’d rather cars with more options and easier to charge.
Very easy to operate and enjoyable for our special needs son....the adults like this too!
Fun for two or more with the music, lights and ability to eject the other driver when you hit him. We love this!
Nice small RC cars
The kids 5 and 6 yr. Old, enjoyed these cars. Ran great on low pile rug.Only issue was adults found the sound annoying and the battery charge did not last very long. An additional battery in box would have been a plus.
A total blast for all kinds of games
The media could not be loaded. These bumper cars are a lot of fun. They light up, and play music. You can change the music by short pressing the power button. There are several different options. There are two little buttons on the sides of each car. The goal is to run your car into the other player's car, and hit one of the buttons when you do so. Each car has a little robot driver, and when you press one of the side buttons it causes the driver to pop out of the car. It's a lot of fun, but can be a little frustrating, because you have to be very precise when hitting the button. The only part of the opposing car capable of hitting the button at the right angle in order to pop the robot out is the center tip of the front of the car. That point is the only part of the car we have found is able to hit the button at the angle needed to eject the robot. So it can become a little tiresome if that is your goal. My son and I have just learned to race them, and play tag with them. We still have a lot of fun. The cars are rechargeable, and hold their charge for about 30 minutes. The remotes take batteries. The robots can be switched between cars, but the remote will always control the same car, regardless of which robot is in it.
Works well
Great for boys that love to play with cars. The LED lights were great and kept kids entertained for hours. These bumper cars were a HUGE hit for my boys. A great purchase.
More Frustrating than Joyful
Here goes. This is going to be a long one.I am a harsh critic when it comes to toys. I consider toy making to be an art form.Starting with the car.Circuitry is provided within the driver’s head so that the car becomes inert when the driver (involving a crash, presumably with the other car), is decapitated. I will leave the moral and psychological implications of this to others. Flags (2 with each car) and engine components (2 with each car) are meant to become debris (along with the head) upon a collision. I would ditch the flags and glue on the engine components. Getting into the battery compartment requires the removal of a Phillips head screw (not retained and easily lost). The two provided screwdrivers are incompatible with the screw head and the shaft head is too thin for easy manipulation of child (or grand parent). A rechargeable battery is provided for the car in a compartment designed for 3 AA batteries. The gender matched connector is minute and means to unlatch not immediately apparent. Too fiddly for child or grandparent. Another minute gender matched connector needs to be attached for charging with a usp wall wart. The wall wart is not provided. The battery needs to be placed on a diagonal to go into the battery box and the wires need to carefully placed in order for the battery box cover to be attached without causing damage to same. Fiddly and poor design. On the good side, I liked the method used to steer the car by the differential between driving the front and rear wheels. This makes the car more robust than if conventional steering mechanism was used. Mating the car with the controller was very simple and quick. Car speed was excellent. Spinning in tight circles was excellent. I only used within 20 foot radius so have no idea range over that. Silicone or similar tires were used and car had good traction on resilient flooring. The controller used 2 AA batteries (not supplied) and the cover required removal of another Phillips head screw. Not retained. Screws are redundant with a door clasp and I would discard (same for car). No other issues with controller other than on/off switch not marked. In short, the product is an assemblage of mis matched components and charging the car requires care and skill unknown to those outside the electronics industry. Intended user’s age is somewhere between 8 to 11, but will require considerable attention from a skilled young adult or similar to keep charged.
