Put it together carefully. Screw in the poles to the base 'carefully'. Ideal floor lamp if you're not going to move it about. I can sense it could break if manhandled a bit rough. Adjust the top light and bendy area while being careful not to loosen or overtighten the other parts. It's a great light with lots of dimming settings. I was hoping that when I turned it off at the mains plug, it would turn back on to its last setting but it doesn't. You need to use the mini switch on the lamp. I got this for £20 and was worth the money. If the base does, at some point break, I can see options to fix it and even, if need be, bracket it to a wall. I'm using the lamp as a conservatory light. It's a USB plug with the mains adapter included. All in all, it's ideal for my purposes. Just be gentle....

It works just fine. It looks ok. The flexible arm does not screw completely into the stand but it hardly notices. Not worth the bother of sending it back for that.

Ive had this item literally two months to the day, and it was initially a bit annoying because it is top heavy and falls over, but easy to adjust. Then the pole kept unscrewing or loosening so have to keep tightening it. Until eventually one day it just sheered off and snapped in the base. So disappointed as i loved the versatility of the different warmth settings and adaptive brightness. Frustrating and naff quality build though.

Great purchase for this time of year with nights drawing in. Easily out together and perfect height to light up a seated area, dims too.Not standard lamp heightStand is not weighty enough, without support by a chair either side, it would probably fall over.If you’re looking for a strong seated height light this is great. Splash out and buy the one with the remote, would have made my life easier

I have placed mine with the ball leg of a book case keeping it in place. So now works well, but the swan neck is weak and needs adjustments. A fantastic array of settings and a real winner for the price and easy to assemble.

I needed a reading lamp that would fit in a very small space between my sofa and wall in the living room. This lamp was the perfect size. I literally set it up in 2 minutes. I love that it has different brightness settings and that the lamp is adjustable, so you can position it to suit your requirements.The only problem I had was with the remote control. I put the batteries in and straight away there was a burning smell, and, it got extremely hot very quickly! Therefore I will not be using the remote.

Günstig und effektiv
Die Lampe ist sehr preiswert bei guter Lichtleistung.,Einziger Nachteil ist der nicht stabile Lampenfuß der so leicht ist das die Lampe schnell das Übergewicht erreicht und umkippt. Bei diesem Preis aber akzeptabel man kann ja gegebenenfalls etwas auf den Lampenfuß stellen.

J'adore mon lampadaire, facile d'utilisation avec 3 niveaux d'éclairage et d'autres options...Je n'ai pas vu qu'il était un peu bas, ce n'est pas grave.
