This is a decent quality cable protector that works exactly as you'd expect. The three metre length means there's plenty for most domestic uses. And the sticky mount on the bottom sticks well enough to to laminate or vinyl flooring. Just note that it's only suitable for fairly straight runs: it's too stiff for anything but a gentle curve.All the channels are sealed so you will need to thread the cable through before fitting plugs and what-not or slit open the bottom using a box-cutter or similar so the cable can be pushed in that way.The bright yellow lines make it easy to spot and the material is stiff and hard wearing enough to be confident it will protect your cables against moderately hard use if necessary. Definitely wortht the £17 asking price.

This cable protector arrived coiled up in a simple plastic bag.Being coiled like this does mean it has a curve when you first unpack it but after being left in sunshine for ten minutes it was completely flat.The cables go into the centre channel which has a thin membrane in the centre connecting the two sides. This is easily pulled apart to insert the cable (see picture).I got this because I had to temporarily run a mains cable over a patio. This has protected the cable from foot traffic, wheelbarrow wheels etc. but it also means that we don’t have to worry about the four fox cubs we have in the garden at the moment chewing the cable and electrocuting themselves!The protector has two self adhesive strips running its entire length but as I’m using this on concrete I haven’t used the adhesive so I can’t comment on how well it sticks.This has made my temporary cable much safer and it has held up well in outdoor conditions so it gets 5 stars.

This floor cable cover is easy to install with its self-adhesive design and 3-channel management function. Although there may be some shortcomings in terms of stickiness and color selection, its safety and durability make it a practical cable management tool. If you are looking for a convenient and quick cable management solution, this product is worth considering.

You don't have much of a choice here but to use the adhesive backing, which makes it not reusable. This is a real shame. I was not planning to use the stickiness, but it comes so coiled up that it comes straight off the floor without it. The stickiness is okay enough to stick to a gravel or path floor, but it's a bit of a struggle if it's not a perfect surface. It's a bit of a shame really.

Really decent cord protector. I generally prefer the heavy flexible rubber protectors that can be moved around, which this isn't - it's fairly stiff PVC with an adhesive backing. But that's not a problem - horses for courses, as they say!You get a lot for your money as well, which you can cut to length with a Stanley knife. Really happy with it, it'll be lovely not tripping over my son's computer leads any more.

Having just taken delivery of a new bed with power points in the headboard but absolutely nowhere to plug it in where we have put it until I gert around to channeling and installing a new outlet we have been relying on an extension cord.This works fine till one wakes in the early hours for a bathroom trip and trips literally over the thing.The cord cover has solved this issue for now, sure it isn't pretty but isafety first, it is easy to cut to size, easy to insert the cable and sticks firmly once placed.I have no complaints at all.
