Some of the cupboards in our kitchen are a little too high for my wife to reach comfortably so we bought this folding step. We're pleased with it; it folds flat and is stable in use.It also serves as a step for our four-year-old granddaughter for the bathroom when she cleans her teeth. This is simple and does its job.

I ordered this for my little girl to use in my kitchen as she previously used a chair as a stool to use the kitchen sink so she was so excited when I gave her this. The legs and the stepping surface are non-slip and are very sturdy to use. I also use it to reach the top shelves and it's very sturdy for adults too. It is foldable but the folding mechanism is not very convenient, so I have just let it stay in the kitchen all the time. It is priced at £24.99 at the time of review, which I think is reasonable considering the sturdiness and foldable feature. Highly recommended!

This is a nice portable stool from LIEKUMM. It measures 38 x 26 x 5cm in its folded state, increasing to 18 cm when unfolded. The design is very simple; there are two (linked) buttons on each leg which you push to allow each leg to open or close.The store page states the stool can hold up to 150kg (around 23.5 stone or 330 lb). While I would not be considered 'light' I do weigh considerably less than the maximum so cannot confirm that claim but it felt very sturdy with me stood on it.When not in use the stool can be stored away in a corner or alcove quite easily so will not take up much in the way of space.The store page does also call this a folding step ladder which it is not as it only has one 'rung' if you want to call it that. As a stool it will prove very useful.

I ordered this stool to use when watering my plants, which are kept up higher than I can reach otherwise. It's a very well designed stool that has several points that I found impressive.• The stool folds up to take up less room when not in use.• It feels stable and safe when I'm using it.• It's got enough width to stand properly, so I don't feel like I'm balancing.• It has a rubber, ridged surface on the top, so if I spill any water it doesn't be one slippery.• It is very sturdy, so wouldn't easily get damaged.• It wipes clean and is easy to look after.Overall its a well designed, well made, useful item, that I'm happy to recommend.

This is a fantastic step stool. I ordered it for my elderly cat who now suffers with arthritis. She loves sleeping on the sofa or cuddling up with us but she's increasingly finding it difficult to jump up. If you have ever googled steps from cats you will know how ridiculously expensive they are and so when I saw this I had to order it.First of all, the step arrives complete, all you need to do is open out the legs and they lock securely into place. Then came the wait…would my old girl take to it? I was gobsmacked that she started using it straight away and continues to. This step is now a permanent fixture next to our couch giving my cat welcome relief from her tired legs. I would highly reccomend this to anyone looking to give their older cat a helping hand.

So the height of this stool is quite low and basically just gives you a step up. I love it for the bathroom as a squatting stool or for kids to reach the sink, although the ribbed plastic doesnt feel great against bare feet. It is really easy to fold, you just push the securing pins in on each leg and fold them in. I thought it would be plastic but it is actually made of metal with a plastic ribbed insert to help prevent slipping. Quality is good, it does have a bit of weight to it but also has an attached handle for easy carrying. It stores well as the legs fold beneath the rim leaving it flush.

this low-rise single step stool is not going to raise to you epic heights but if you just need a couple of extra inches to reach something it's ideal.it's sturdily constructed and the legs are held in position with spring loaded pins that make sure it will not fold accidentally under load. once placed on the floor and all the legs are correctly angled it is solid as a rock and was perfectly happy to carry my 110kg weight without complaint.when not in use it folds perfectly flat with a depth of just a couple of centimetres so is easy to store and not take up much room.if the legs were an inch or two longer for just a little more height it could be even more useful but as it stands it's still a very handy little step stool.
