Wow this thing really shifts through the water, it uses a Jet of water that's pulled in at the bottom and blasted out of the back at high speed to power it through the water at a rate of knots.Utilizing Rechargable Li-Ion Batteries in the Boat itself it allows the Brushless Motor to run at high speed with great maneuverability.The Wireless Hand Held Controller uses 4x AA Batteries and directs the boat through the water by pulling a trigger to move forward and a knob to turn left & right. That might sound a little complex but you get the hang of it in seconds.The only odd thing I couldn't make out was where the switch is to turn the battery off in the Boat ? Of course having finished using the Craft you are suppposed to remove the top to drain away any water left inside, at that point you would take out the Battery anyway or replace it with another of which two are supplied incidently.This is a real powerful toy which would make a great present which young people (and not so young) will love, as such I can highly recommend it.

I have the exact brushed version from Aliex which was only 36 pounds compared to 99 pounds for this, and that one is much much faster ! With self righting , I'm very disappointed as I thought the brushless would perform better, maybe a fault on it somewhere ??? Anyhow I've returned for a refund . I advise to look elsewhere , (Aliexp for 36 quid brushed version!!)

This is a great boat that would make an awesome present. It is easy enough to control and is very fast for its size. With over 400ft range it is perfect for fun in pools or even in lakes. It’s not the fanciest looking RC boat around but for the price it’s great!

Lasted 5 mins before it started beeping and smoke came out of it. Not waterproof at all. I followed all the instructions so it's not user error. In all honesty. It's not really worth the money anyway. It felt quite cheap. Refund is on the way.

The DEERC Fast Brushless RC Shark Boat came the next day.It was well packed and was built very sturdy it came with a stand/ remote control / instructions book and charging cable.After fully charging it it was ready to go and we tried on our local flood relief channel by the river .It is a very fast boat and with the self righting on it so if it flips it flips back again and also it waterproof . It is great fun and very controllable there is also alerts when the battery is low or you are going out of range.The boat has a lot going for it having a fast brushless motor water cooling led lights on the front and back as well as a modern smart looking boat.We are very pleased with it and I think we will have lots of fun with it.

The media could not be loaded. I've got a few RC speedboats, so was looking forward to reviewing this self-righting shark one from DeeRC.Initially, I was concerned that this looked smaller than expected, but actually it's just the right size. It was too big for the paddling pool that I tested it in, so it needs a decent sized pool or lake to use it on.This has a 3s battery with Deans connector, so theoretically you should be able to get additional batteries easily enough.The motor is brushless, which makes this ultra fast as well as efficient. You should get a good run time out of the battery.I like that you do t need to take the whole cover off to change batteries. It's simply a case of taking the fin section off, then lifting the smaller rectangular section. The larger piece is removable to check the motor, etc.The control is responsive and there's a large runner on it.Self-righting clearly works, as my demo video shown. I really can't wait to try this on the local pool. As you can see in my paddling pool, it literally flies.My only negative observation is in relation to the charger. It's a usb one, so concerts 5v to closer to 112v. This does, u fortunately, mean that charging takes ages. I gave up in the end and used my standard Li-Po charger, which was much quicker. Id definitely suggest investing in one if you intend to use this a lot and charge multiple batteries.Overall, this is really good. It's fairly decent value whilst on offer.If you're into boats and don't mind a bit of novelty with the shark fin and design (actually, it works well) then this is certainly recommended.

Das beste Boot mit tollem Kundenservice!
Ich habe zwei Boote gekauft und es macht wirklich Spaß sie zu fahren. Sie sind sehr schnell für die Größe und die Reichweite ist auch top. Es gab bei einem ein kleines Problem, welches durch den Support sehr schnell gelöst wurde. Bin sehr zufrieden!
Che delusione
Acquistato per il figlio e le vacanze al mare, messo in acqua già presentava problemi di direzione riportato a riva tolto il tappo di svuotamento acqua 💧 era entrata,il servo direzione non funzionava più. Da modellista mi sono accorto che la squadretta era montata al rovescio (verso il basso)e forzava il comando. Rimontato il tutto prima di rimetterlo in acqua con del mastice sistemato per tutto il perimetro della cappottina ho cercato di evitare che entrasse acqua di nuovo. Provato da me con la seconda batteria tempo cinque minuti aveva problemi di direzione, ripreso dall'acqua il servo vibrava di nuovo, tolto il tappo scarico acqua ne è uscita una tazzina,non riesco a capire da dove possa entrare. Se posso consigliare tenete i soldi da parte e quando potete acquistate un modello che si possa definire tale.
Fehlkauf
Bei der ersten Probefahrt nicht geplanter Stopp und dann bei 12º C komplett ins Ostseewasser und Boot bergen. Ansonsten keine Lebenszeichen mehr. Somit helfen auch keine 2 Accus.Fazit : zurück !!
Uso e reso
Nemmeno 5 minuti di utilizzo mi sono ritrovato a dover raccogliere a nuoto il modellino in quanto non girava più l'elica. Sono stato inoltre fortunato a non perdere l'albero motore che era quasi interamente uscito fuori sede. Mandato subito indietro e ordinato uno in sostituzione sperando non abbia lo stesso problema. Inoltre ho notato che non è assolutamente ermetico perchè in 5 minuti ho trovato acqua nell'alloggiamento pile.
