    I like the design of these, very smart, they look like some designer homeware brand, well finished, twin-ply with a "piped" edge. Excellent!

    Constructed from double thickness cotton, these are attractive tea towels decorated with an appealing, repeating cat image. The listing is, however, confused as it shows images of two different sizes of towel and gives two different measurements. One states the towels are 40cm x 30cm and the other 76cm x 34cm, neither of which are larger than a standard tea towel size in the UK, which is more normally around 70cm x 45cm (length to width, per the listing). These are narrow and long (76l x 34w) and less useful as a result for drying hands or dishes, albeit the extra thickness of the double layer of fabric lends itself nicely to extra absorbency.Leaving the size of the towels to one side, their construction leaves something to be desired. Seams are not well stitched and the machine stitching on one has been done with an incorrectly tensioned bobbin so that the stitching is not even and unlikely to last; the second one has wobbly edges and is badly finished.The design is lovely and very appealing, but the towels are not extra large and are actually around 20% smaller than the area of a standard UK tea towel. They are also not well finished or stitched. I still like them, but not enough to go above a three star rating unfortunately.

    This is a pack of two tea towels, each with the same cat design in one of two colour schemes, which is reversed on either side. I love the bold design and it brings a bit of fun to the kitchen. The towels each have a loop for hanging from a hook, or you can sling them over a towel rail. They are quite absorbent and fairly large, so should see you through a few rounds of dishes. The build quality seems fine and I can’t find anything wrong with them really.

    Lovely set of tea towels. I wondered about them being two-ply as I've never seen that before (not on a tea towel anyway!), but they work really well. One is green on grey, the other is the opposite way round. Because they are pure cotton, they absorb moisture really well so I just use them for drying my hands in the kitchen.
