    The bars and hardware are smaller in diameter and lighter than other wire racks I own, so I would not consider this to be “heavy duty.” This shelving unit is relatively quick and easy to assemble IF you have someone helping you. You’ll also want to have a mallet handy to tap the shelves into position. I ended up not attaching one of the hanging rods so that I could hang longer items on one side. I may end up removing the one from the other side as well. Fortunately, they are held in place by knobs that screw on, so I won’t have to disassemble it entirely as I would to remove a shelf.

    Love the look of it, and it is a versatile piece you can utilize in different configurations, so allows for some creativity in the set up, and you need to be...because the instructions are really lacking.However despite liking the look&the fact that it's fairly simple to put together, it's not stable enough to warrant giving it higher than a 3 star. Like yes, the company included some plastic brackets with screws and plugs, but I really didn't plan on drilling holes in my wall for a simple garment rack.The instructions were insufficient even more so for the corner configuration which made more sense for my space which I gave up on. The plastic pieces that are supposed to hug onto the poles so that the slots for the shelves can go over them are very hard to get to stay in one place or go together flush with the shelve slots, it's like they're a little too big/thick.Due to it not being that deep, it'd be useless for a bigger statured person with larger clothes as they wouldn't fit well.If you are a picky person, it'll will pain you to know that the way you have to put this thing together, the shelves will not be at the same level on both sides. No one else will notice but it's driving me crazy.They was way too much fiddling and rearranging and re-enfcorcing for something that is designed to be a fancy bakers rack.All around love having it but, if I had little kids or a rambunctious dog, it would not be a keeper, I guess unless I wanted to drill some more holes...

    This clothes rack is solid and well made. It's designed well in that it wont fall apart on you and it fits plenty of clothes in the space that it uses. I like that it has shelves in the middle along with hooks on the side for you to store things other than clothes that you like to hang. Overall, it's an easy 5 star.
