The shoes arrive and they do look quite nice.The material is pretty soft and inside is quite comfortable.The sole has quite a bit of flex to it, from what I expect and it may not do well with serious walking, but casual walking and the odd bit out I think these are fine.They are comfortable on the walks and I have not worried much about my foot comfort while wearing them. I would like a better gripping sole though.Overall these are comfortable, and I think I am fine with them for casual walking but I am not sure I would use them on a longer hike.

The media could not be loaded. These are comfortable shoes, ideal for a walking trip to the park, garden, hiking etc. I needed a replacement for my old shoes, and these seemed a good choice. The shoes are comfortable and the quality seems to last for a long time in good condition. The soles are especially comfortable and are great for a long walk.The shoes would also work nicely as a gift, as they come in well-polished and clean. They also come in multiple colours, personally, I prefer brown.Overall, the shoes are nice, and I recommend them for personal use or as a gift for a family member or friend. Should be called light rain proof not waterproof or weatherproof shoes, did a test submerging the shoes partially and after a second or two feet were instantly wet. I would not recommend these shoes on the basis of that especially since they are advertised as trekking outdoor shoes...
3.0 out of 5 stars Ok as a casual boot, NOT for hiking
I got these as they looked good and thought a decent pair of hiking boots would be good for the winter walks. They do look nice and the grip is good. To try them out I went to my local supermarket which was 30mins away so total 1hr walk. I realised after 5mins that these would not be suited for serious hiking up mountains. More likely to injure yourself as not enough support around the ankle. My feet were feeling uncomfortable after 20 mins of walking. Partly due to the fact that they are half to a full size too big. I am a size and got a size 10 but these feel like 11. I didn't really enjoy the walk and couldn't wait to take them off.I think as a casual shoe they will be ok as long as the sizing is ok. They do look smart and I like the colour.Overall, I am not a fan and probably just wear them occasionally when going on 10 min walk. Wouldn't drive in them, too big.
