This is really nice for a birthday celebration. It has tasty food in it that has good long dates. It's a bit expensive at £32, but I've seen it discounted to around £22; this feels much more reasonable. I would get it again, though. Enjoyable

If you are stuck and want to send a mini hamper this one really looks the business. You can recycle all the packaging and you get a leaflet explaining clearly what its made of and how to dispose of it plus a run down of everything in the box.The box itself is really high quality with happy birthday emblazoned on the top and you could reuse it for storage it's so good. When you open it on the top is a bar of chocolate saying happy birthday and a tiny little self lighting candle to pop on the top of the cake underneath, also a small bottle of prosecco, some popcorn, shortbread biscuit, some sweets and a chocolate mallow bar. They are really high quality and all clearly chosen as they go so well together.Hampers are never cheap due to weight etc but this is a well made luxury product - 4 stars as for me it's expensive for others, corporate gifts etc no one would be disappointed to receive this especially as a surprise

Over the last week it has been my pleasure to sample this hamper from Virginia Hayward Hampers, in order to write this review.The hamper comes double boxed, with an outer cardboard box protecting the inner presentation box. Contents are protected with tissue and compostable packing peanuts. An included information leaflet advises how you can recycle the packaging.The contents themselves are delicious and decadent. I have shared a few items, some took me a few days to eat, others went quickly. I would say this box is for one to two people and ideal for celebrating a birthday, a thank you or a personal event.The prosecco I shared with a group of family members, all are wine drinkers and all thought it was an excellent, well chosen bottle. One said that champagne would not have been better.All the treats were exceptional in their quality and uniqueness and none were a disappointment. I particularly enjoyed the cookie fudge clusters, shortbread and coffee/choc nut mix. But the whole selection was a treat and I could see that effort had been taken to source unique products that you wouldn't come across on a day to day basis.As I wrote this review, I sadly ate the last few of the mature cheddar oaty bites (delicious) and I think the only improvement to this hamper would be a leaflet with information on the producers of these products.

I know I certainly love to receive a hamper of goodies at anytime and if it is a hamper of food and drink then that is a massive bonus! This hamper would make an excellent gifting idea and would be well received by most I'm sure.Each item is presented in a high quality fashion, and we have enjoyed trying all the different bits. The mature cheddar mini bites and the shortbread being absolute favourites in this house!I was a bit unsure of what size bottle would be in the hamper as I couldn't find that information listed but I was very happy that it is a 750ml bottle, as I half expected it to be one of the very small bottles.Overall it is a good quality hamper and would be sure to put a smile on the recipient.
