In the box with the robot is a remote control, crayon pen for the robot to scan and imitate plus charge cable and instructions. The robot will take some setting up to get working correctly. To use the robot it must be connected to a pc via a USB cable and then programmed with the Matatalab software that uses simple diagram instructions to perform and execute the instructions one by one. This robot features graphic and python programming platforms as well as AI and IOT Features. There are so many effects and programming abilities that can be done with this robot featuring effects of sound, light and movement. The robot itself is well built and has precise movement with high sensor accuracy and a long battery life that will last up to 4 hours.Inside the robot it is equipped with 8 sensors and a 16 x 8 LED Matrix on the front of it to show different effects. This robot is aimed at young children to give then insight into what simplistic programming can achieve through the robots actions and the fun and educational outputs it achieves.Overall this is a high quality introduction robot for children and basic programming techniques plus how they perform and hopefully building them a path in the future for technology.
5.0 out of 5 stars Really advanced robot teaching essential computer programming concepts
The world in the 21st century is very digital and teaching the mechanics of this to kids growing up into that world is not only a hard task but also an essential one. Whilst I've started on teaching them Scratch - rather than just seeing things on a screen this contraption takes things that one level further with proper interactive, creative play. It's true that to use this robot, you do need to understand the basics of coding and it's not designed to teach you the basics but to harness your skills and advance them through the creative play. I'd really call this robot a learning through play or an educational gift - but what you get is a really powerful, all singing and dancing bot (quite literally); It has motors to move the device, speakers to play basic and goes to really advanced levels like following a straight line through to speech and colour recognition so it can really grow with your child and perform some cool effects. You get a comprehensive pack of video materials to help get you started with ideas and what not but it's the ability to explore and learn that keep this toy so amazing. The battery of the robot is around 4 hours and it's rechargeable so given there's a fair bit of coding time between iterations of runs this is more than suffice. Highly recommend!
4.0 out of 5 stars Well thought out and engaging toy - for patient kids
This is pretty nifty for the young budding programmer in your life. It's pretty niche item as I can only think of one such person in my life that fits that bill - and has the requisite patience to deal with this! Not that there is anything wrong with this toy - but the nature of what it is and what it teaches is for more developed, scientific minded kids with patience. In a nutshell it works as sort of a game - you can use your smartphone for tutorials for learning coding basics and as you input correct codes you trigger the robot to move or do something (walk or follow a line on a board, display a message on its face, etc). As you go through the lessons / tasks, they get more complex. So this is building very basics at first and slowly increasing knowledge as you go in incremenets. Very clever. The problem if I can find one is that this is a such a specific toy as you have to hit that sweet spot in age, frustration tolerance and patience in whom you're buying for - so unless your child or recipient already has an interest in coding, already knows what coding is and the basics of it - I wouldn't bother with it because they will get frustrated and you won't get good value out of it.Others mentioned problems with Bluetooth - I haven't (yet) after initial tests had a problem on an iPhone running iOS 16 but I have not sat with and explored this toy extensively. So first impressions and testing are good. Just a very narrow market for this - though playing with it I'm having fun myself!
5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic toy thats compatible with LEGO
There's loads of reviews telling you about the programming aspects of the robot but all of them have failed to mention that the robot is very compatible with Lego Bricks and technic elements too, so it can be combined with Lego motors and bricks to make some amazing machines that you can programme , it can also be combined with other bots too.Perfect for young engineers in the making or kids into the STEM subjects or just for a bit of educational fun or for you MOC builders .
5.0 out of 5 stars Engaging and educational robot
Engaging and educational, this coding robot is an excellent tool for young learners. The variety of programming languages it supports, from Scratch to Python, makes it versatile for different skill levels. Watching kids interact with AI features and seeing them light up with excitement as they create and code their own projects is incredibly rewarding. The robot's design encourages creativity and critical thinking, making it more than just a toy. It’s a fantastic way to introduce complex concepts in a fun and accessible way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent value for money
Educational toy for the scientific brain. I would say this is a geeky type toy and those kids with mathematical brains (like me) would love it.It is like the Lego league idea (but for younger) where you start off with the basic coding and work your way up.Each time you successfully complete the required code the robot does something. the coding problems get progressively harder.the code is controlled via the downloadable App. The robot needs to be charged but lasts 4 hours when moving around.Good present and great quality item.
Super impressive and can do so much. Worth more than the price!!
This thing is amazing! I am impressed by all it can do and the fact that you are not just pressing pre programmed buttons on a limited toy. No, this is a legitimate robot for young children learning to code with an interest in robotics. There is an app for programming and writing your code that you can either download or go to their website. I was not able to get it to hook up to bluetooth, but to be honest, I put the minimal amount of effort into it without reading their directions, so that one is on me, not them. This is very well made, and high quality, and for what it is and what you can do with it, the asking price is a steal. And it charges very quickly, by the way. I believe you will get 4 hours out of a single charge. It comes with instructions, a book of challenges, a paper mat (that’s the only con so far - I do wish it was laminated) that’s a game board on one side and on the other side, there is a thick black line. Put the robot on it and it will follow that line. Or have it draw its own line to follow. Make it play a game, or sync up to do tricks with other robots, program a message on it instead of seeing “eyes” on the screen - Vincibot will do it! The possibilities are endless! My granddaughter is into robotics and will absolutely adore this, and it’s something her dad can teach her and work with her with, as she is only going to be seven. I am just starting to learn to code myself, but took a break from the very basic stuff I had learned (which I will now have to re-learn briefly) due to my schedule being so full, but when I looked at their simple coding, I was lost…(very sad). This is such a great teaching tool, that I so want to keep it for myself, especially for the robotics aspect of it. And their site says it’s great for learning the basics of AI as well. A young scholar can grow with this with all the potential this thing has. It’s amazing!! Do yourself a favor if you are unsure - go to their website and peruse it, read the entirety of the ad here, and check out their app (though you can’t do much on the app without signing in) - I think you will be just as impressed as I am.I will update if the bluetooth connection is not successful, but I have a very good feeling that it will be fine. Until then, this is worth every dime and more and I highly recommend it!
Super!
Great education toy for the kids
The kids love the activities included in this, and it teaches them a lot during play time. If you're looking for something that can help kids with STEM - check this out!
