Patience is needed when setting up Alexa and Google but the TV itself is first class, starts up from a second the command is given to Alexa (see video) setting up the TV was a breeze and I like how you can input the names of devices connected to the 2 HDMI inputs, there is another HDMI for arce too which all worked well first time. I have not needed to tweek anything as Philips did a good job of that already. Picture quality is great especially when using HDMI as I don't watch live TV. The interface is properly set up nicely, almost like a firestick and a joy to use. The sound is also fantastic with Atmos. I have the sound sent to the soundbar though as I like the back speakers behind me to give the room a fuller sound. Also, the feet that came with it did not need replacing, they are very sturdy and heavy and not the normal plastic type. The remote control is also heavy and well built. Philips have done themselves proud I am so glad I chose this one. However there is no blue light protection built in or anti glare but I find this with most TVs.

I bought this 43"tv to replace a 40" Medion smart tv,First of all i downloaded the user manaual and printed it off,first mistake as i found that it was badly written,and there were very poor instructions on the use of the remote control.Secondly,I could nnot fathom out how to control the sound setting,this was completely omitted from the instructions.Exasperated i ran phillips customer service uk,the agent was extremely helpful,and afeter i had explained my problem he rang me back,and we went through the set up together.On doing so we found the back button on the remote would not respond at all and other buttons were very slow.The design of the soft touch buttons is difficult for older people who s fingers are stiff with arthritus etc....After some thought i decided that this tv was not for me and contacted Bolo with a request to return it for refund which they have agreed .I did do some research before making the purchase,on reflexion there was not enough information on the remote control which in my opinion is as important as the tv!

I spent 3 months looking to replace my last tv. I returned 2 previous tvs ( both different makes) as I could not get the same in depth picture as my old one. Hooray! This Philips tv is fantastic boasting great picture quality and an array of features, too many to list. I highly recommend this brand.

Overall i am quite happy with the tv, it has a great picture with a number ways to personalise its features for the individual taste, it was easy to set up as the ports are easy to reach, set up was simple once the set was switched on, just a question and answer routine, however my set didn't come with an instruction manual for the remote, after visiting the web site i downloaded a manual which made navigation a great deal easier, maybe it is normal to not include said manual or it may have been in the product description and i missed it, all in all i'm happy with the equipment......

Very easy to set up and use. We like the feature where you can set up subtitles or take them off from the controller. Picture and sound is excellent on hi and uhd. Was not expensive to buy on Bolo either, especially considering the quality of the product.

I bought this TV to replace a Samsung. perhaps I should have stayed with them. I only use my TV to watch streaming i.e. no live TV. This TV comes with streaming apps already installed. I can't see a way to take those I don't want off i.e. anything by the BBC. The TV is slow to 'boot up' and I regularly have to turn it on and off several times as it is so slow to connect to WiFi. It is not possible to open UKTV Play directly as there is no app for it, which is a shame. However, it is available through the Freeplay app. That being said after a month or so this failed to work and I had to get in touch with Philips who, after some tooing and froing, sent me some instructions and a link to a dedicated software update. Fortunately I am computer literate and have access to laptops and USB's etc. However, those who cannot find their way around a computer would have huge problems doing this. I have elderly relatives and friends who would find this impossible. This TV is not Android which gives it particular limits. One such limit is that you cannot get NOWTV on it without using a firestick or other external device. There are probably many other apps you cannot get. If I were to be in the position to buy a TV again, based on my recent experience, I would not buy this TV.
