5.0 out of 5 stars feels okay
The quality feels good however I just haven't had time to test it for growing so far. it is well packaged and feels premium. it worked without issue or flicker so i would recommend based on the brightness and premium feel.
4.0 out of 5 stars well built, wide spectrum, hanging kit is supplied, large. A bit faffy to hang, a bit pricey
PROS-well built-hanging kit supplied-wide spectrum-quite large (especially vs. my other “grow lights”, which have small heads on the end of goosenecks)CONS-a little faffy to hang-a bit priceyNOTES-I’m a beginner with this sort of thing (indoor growing with artificial light). This was mostly to get going, and I very much appreciate the programmability, and instructions (though I would have appreciated a bit more detail and advice).MY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros
3.0 out of 5 stars duel head plant lights
This is a useful light for either house plants that are in an area that doesn’t give them enough light or for bringing on seedlings early in the year for going in the garden later on, which is what I will be using this for.The lamp itself is ok but not particularly well made, the goose-necks are not very flexible and I cannot get them to bend to more than 90 degrees without them un-bending themselves. The light heads are separate and you need to screw them in to the lamp, on both of them the base of the light head is not properly secured so turns round which makes it difficult to screw them in to, or remove them from the lamp heads and makes me nervous that they will break. The clip on the base is extremely stiff and I need both hands to be able to open the clip enough to get it on to the table edge even though I have reasonably strong hands. The lights emit a decent amount of light which is a warm to yellow white light, it’s difficult to say if it is full spectrum without a proper measuring device. I will be giving these a proper try out during the winter when brining on seedlings for early planting out, in the mean time they are giving some of my house plants a little light boost which they seem to be pretty good for.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good features and easy to adjust for optimal coverage.
These grow lights are perfect for my needs. My husband has made me a beautiful area to house my large collection of house plants. Unfortunately we didn’t consider the light the plants would get and so I needed to install some grow lights to ensure they don’t suffer. My plants are on shelving and so these lights are ideal and can be positioned easily and moved around when needed. These are a full spectrum light which means the plants will get everything that they need and be much much healthier as a result. There are built in timers which I can choose from depending on the stage of my plants growth and a memory function so that it will continue to cycle through it from day to day. There are a good number of LED’s and I’ve not experienced any discernible hot spots. These lights have a dimmer option and have three heads which can be positioned easily to give me optimal coverage. They are very fairly priced in my opinion and my plants look great as a result of using them.I hope you find my review helpful.
4.0 out of 5 stars It is very easy to use this lamp and also it is effective
I have quite a lot of experience growing indoor plants and because slowly we are heading to winter and I cannot keep them outside anymore. I have decided to get this lamp because besides the energy efficiency which is class D not that great, he doesn't do a really good job. The installation was a very simple process and in totally took me around 10 minutes(I already had the hook in the ceiling so I just had to attach it) hand regarding its functionality it does what it has to and here I mean I can set the program that I want based on the type of plants that I want to grow and also I have the option of adjusting the height of it based on the growing process. I find to be very practical the fact that it has 1.5 m long cable which allows me to plug it in the socket which was not very close to the place where I have installed thisBased on how this lamp is built most likely it should last for quite a long time and so far in my case it performs as it should so all is fine for me.
5.0 out of 5 stars Top Quality
I'm really impressed with this light. The tripod base is versatile and has many options to get the angle just right. It's not a low quality tripod, there has clearly been a lot of thought gone into the design. The light arms are similarly well designed. These arms mean many plants can be lit over a wide base. Haven't had the chance to see how well the plants react to the light but the build quality here is top notch.Very impressed.
4.0 out of 5 stars Put it on a shelf over the top
I'm happy with the quality of the light itself. It has three colour modes, various brightness levels, and a timer all controlled from an inline switch that I can't lose. That switch also does the on-off. It's powered by a USB plug. The tripod is a little bit flimsy. It won't stay upright over the top of my plants with the light out sideways on the gooseneck. I have a couple of very tall plants that this won't fit over the top of as it is. So I've had to improvise a little to get this to work. A shelf, a hook, and a little black cord and it's staying perfectly angled out from the wall and set sideways to cover as many plants as possible. I have noticed my houseplants perking up using this. Usually, I'm into the warmer weather by now and my indoor plants would have gone out to the cold frame for their annual holidays in the sunshine. However, with 4 degrees overnight, I wouldn't want to risk them yet. This is giving them a needed boost until I can get them outside. I just wish the tripod was better.
