    A beautiful kettle. Mine had a little defect. It was past the return. The company were so helpful in getting a new one out to me. Something they didn't have to do.so all in all we are over the moon. A very good kettle and a very good company.

    Very unhappy with this kettle. It discoloured after 5 uses. Also, you need an oven mitt when pouring as it's too hot to handle. Beautiful floral design but badly made. I am returning this defective laura ashley kettle

    I absolutely love this pretty kettle. I read the reviews that said it marked very easily on a gas hob but I think the people who wrote those reviews probably put their kettle onto a too large burner. I have used my kettle on a medium burner where the flames stay under the kettle and don’t burn up over the sides. I have had my kettle for a few weeks now and it is still as good as new, so not a problem. I highly recommend this beautiful kettle. The whistle is very loud (I can hear it at the end of my garden and I have a large garden). If you are looking for something a little different and very pretty then this is the kettle for you.

    Looks pretty but very uncomfortable to fill with water as handle does not bend, also handle heats and needed to use the cloth to pour water out, further, to pour water you need to adjust and almost tip kettle over, this put strain on the wrist. Unfortunately, nice exterior became yellow, probably from the heating in one week. Delivery was very prompt and packaged very securely. In general, I am not very happy with the product and will not recommend, unless using only for decorative purposes.

    Very pretty, practical in my kitchen, as not taking surface space. The trick is to fill up what you need. Once over half full it takes an age to boil.

    Sadly this will be taken to a charity shop as soon as I can buy a better stove top kettle. It's heavy without water in it. The lid metal on top gets hot - which make re filling fun. I'm and averaged sized hand for a lady and I can't hold the handle and the spout lifter at the same time. Full with water it's so heavy to tilt that I've missed the cup too many times for it to be safe for me. Finally on an induction hob it does heat up but no quicker than an electric kettle - I'm guessing it's because the base is not sitting on the glass top only the rim is and be abuse of this it sounds like you've got a train in your kithen when you power up. I must be using more electric because of this slow boil - no other pan I use takes this long on the induction hob. It's lovely quality - as it feels sturdy and it looks pretty but I've wasted £60.

    Colour is slightly different to the other Laura Ashley products with the same pattern and first time used on gas top the kettle totally discoloured like it couldn't handle the heat and burnt the paint. Not very ergonomical for pouring.

    The kettle is absolutely beautiful. We have not been using it alot until maybe just 2 week ago or so. This weekend I noticed a colour change and patch around one side of the kettle. Very disappointed. No idea why bcoz we have not used the stove except for heating up the water. Not sure what to do. There's no burns or anything except for the colour change.
