I have been for a good hemming for a while but all I have been so far were not worth while as they were not sticking properly.Kyzistn Iron tape is easy to use, just follow the instruction and dont skip any steps in between. It works amazingly well almost on all the clothes. I have shorten few of my pants so far and roll goes long way.Highly recommend, Kyzistn iron tape.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works well.
This lightweight tape is ideal for hems and works far better than I thought it would. From its appearance I did not think it would stick very well but I tried it on a lightweight dark skirt and ut was fine, then on a pair of jeans and ut also worked on those so I am delighted with it. Good value at only around £8 for a roll that will do lots of hems.
4.0 out of 5 stars Outcome on trousers is better than traditional hemming tape - BUT no instructions included !!!
Kyzistn Iron On Tape, Fabric Fusing TapeTurning up trousers are a pain - even for a DH or DS. Stitching is the best - but unless you are really good the cosmetic outcome can be poor. So I usually use "Wunda-Web" or its generic equivalent for ironing on turn-ups for trousers. On Bolo UK, Wundaweb is £2.81 (£0.94/metre) and the generic version £2.99 (£0.12/metre). This brand is £7.99 for 10m (80p /metre).Pros ✅ unlike the usual hemming web this goes on top of the turn up rather than behind it. This has the advantage that you don't need to hem the turn up to stop it fraying - you can just cut the trousers with pinking shears and iron this over the top. This leads to less bulk at the foot of the trouser and it moves easier and looks better from the outside. That's a win for me !Cons ❌ so far the only downside is [1] cost; generic hemming tape is £2.99 (£0.12/metre) on UK Bolo, but I rate this as a better product and [2] there are NO instructions with the tape to explain which side faces down (the wite side) and what iron settings to use. I had to use trial and error on spare material bits before I felt confident to work on a new pair of trousers.OVERALL - I rate the outcome on trousers as better than traditional hemming tape - I like this and will use it in the future. But because of the lack of instructions - only 4 stars ! I hope this spurs the seller to correct this glaring omission.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good for hemming
I followed the instructions on the description, and it works well.It did not detach with several washes.Perhaps it is a bit expensive for what it is, but in my case I only occasionally need it, so it does not matter much. While it is fine for many things, I would not trust it with section which gets stretched often (maybe it is obvious, I am not an expert myself, but I tried it to fix a rip in some jeans and it did not last too long. For hemming it is fine though).
