Wow! What a great machine. It's really quite big so I was happy from the start. After putting the legs on and suckers and watching a few YouTube tutorials, I was ready for the off! Easy to make hats but just get the rows right fir different yarn. Chunky wool 140 rows will make a great slouchy. 140 tows with DK will make a perfect adult hat with cuff. 110 rows DK makes a cuffless beanie but maybe 105 or even 100 rows would gave been better. You'll have to try yourself. Make sure you watch a YouTube tutorial on how to pick up dropped and tucked stitches coz if it happens you won't panic, thankfully I've been lucky and not had any...yet! Made 6 hats so far. Your back will most probably ache and your right arm from winding the handle a million times. I'm still trying to find the best way to sit comfortably. If you want to make adult sized hats, scarves then get one! It's got a switch for tubes (hats) or to knit a panel. Your best friend is YouTube! Have fun!

The 48 needle model I purchased from this listing (seller GREENY LEAVES LTD) is no longer showing, but this is clearly a used machine/return. The row counter does not work.Strangely enough, an extra row counter was included in the box with no mention of it in the instruction leaflet. This was an immediate red flag that this is not a new machine. The row counter is an inner component that connects to the gears and requires the machine to be dismantled, so I'm not clear as to why a machine sold as brand new would have the expectation of the consumer immediately taking it apart and repairing it?I have experience of these machines and they normally work quite well. If Im purchasing a used machine, I like to be made aware of it and have the price reflect that. I feel this was a deceptive sale so I am returning the machine and re-ordering another from the Bolo Sentro shop.

The media could not be loaded. This came really nicely boxed, so would make a lovely gift for someone wanting to get into knitting or to make items quickly. The instructions are a little confusing, to be honest, but I found a YouTube video which made it easier for me to understand. The suction cups aren’t as strong as I would like them to be, but maybe I just need to be more forceful. I read it can only be used with specific wool, so this is something to consider, depending on the project you have in mind. I’m still in the tinkering stage, so don’t have anything to show for it yet. However, I think once you have the process down, you can quickly produce an item. I’m going to try a hat to start with – keep it simple!!! This is a fun little machine, and I can recommend it. My daughter has spied it and is keen to try it, so it’s something we can share with each other, which I love. Can recommend it.

This is a lovely little knitting machine for children or adults alike.The machine is sturdy plastic and comes with accessories such as a plastic crochet hook and plastic needle and two small balls of yarn. The yarn shown on the box is a cotton yarn however the yarn supplied is an acrylic.It is very easy to use and very quick to produce a knitted garment. Casting on is simple, turning the handle is very easy and smooth and casting off again simple.The instructions supplied are not that great but there are plenty of videos available showing how to use and what can be produced on these little machines.I would recommend this to anybody wanting to craft something without having to dedicate a lot of time to learning a new skill.There are also two settings so you can knit either a tube or a flat panel which could then be joined to another panels to make a larger garment such as a wider scarf.

I'm getting into knitting and crochet stuff. Wanted to try this out. It's easy to use and fun. My friend's son wanted to have a go, inturn round and he knitted up to 8 inches. Although I haven't got all parts included as there were missing parts. At £50.99, I expected better and more needles. It didn't fit my wrist and it's too small for my ankle. And the circle is too small to make a hat for myself
