    The selection of connection options meant I was able to quickly connect this speaker system to my TV with no issues at all.Our use case is to improve the sound of a 32" TV in a caravan. There's no room for a soundbar/woofer combination. Plus stereo separation is important. Volume was set to 50% on the speakers and fine volume control was made using the TV remote.I was very quickly blown away by the depth of sound on first test using a radio channel on the TV. The dials to control bass and treble are most useful when watching high dynamic range movies where you might be conscious of explosions bothering your neighbours. Or just want to eq a piece of music a little more to your taste. Overall the sound is extremely clean, punchy, crisp, but not too heavy on the bass or treble (unless you adjust this with the EQ of course).The cone of sound is quite narrow and the speakers benefit from some toe-in when you wish to listen more intently. Regular placing is fine for movie viewing in my experience. There is sufficient cable to expand the sound stage or to accommodate much larger TVs. I would have no hesitation in using these speakers in my primary music listening setup via an amp and would also be very happy with these connected to a pc for gaming.The speakers are particularly attractive and have no garish led lights to distract you. The blue power lead is quite subtle.The only slight negative is the power button which is placed at the bottom of the speaker and operating this one-handed will result in pushing the speaker around the surface it is stood on. The supplied rubber feet provide good isolation from the standing surface, but not sufficient anti slip for on handed power operations. Not a big deal at all and certainly nothing that would put me off buying a second set.Easy to setup and adjust to your liking, attractive design, multiple connection options, great tone and ample volume range for most household situations.

    These mid-sized monitors are amazing value for money. They are well made and feel solid. Perfect size. They look great and are very easy to set up and use. I connected them within minutes. But most importantly is the high quality of sound produced. I use them in a (amateur) home studio environment with Logic Pro. But even just for pure listening pleasure ie, iTunes, YouTube, Apple Music or Spotify they are fantastic. Obviously if you’re a pro music producer you’ll need something more substantial. For everyone else at £70 approx you’ll not be disappointed.

    Soundbars ? Don't even bother.I ordered these thinking I would have a better sound.....they just arrived and I set them up. I bought a cheap and easy behringer audio interface.....good quality RCA cables and connected the audio interface via usb. No power required.Setup the speakers ( I was thinking: these feel strangely light)....I switched them on....I'm listening to : Pet Shop Boys (The end of the world); blade 2016 remix as I type this.WOW !....The sound is so full and rich.....Not at all harsh. The bass ? I'm speechless to be honest.Horns and synths sound full but not overly bright. Vocals are clear. Sweeping pads sound beautiful.I've heard these speakers don't do well with audio separation using the included aux-to rca connectors which is why I purchased the behringer (tiny little thing).Some advice - don't buy cheap cables for audio signals....the German companies on Bolo make some amazing ones that are fully tested before being sold and they aren't too expensive. (Cable-direct are fabulous).So..if you want your music and audio to sound fabulous.....the bass is just incredible...honestly - filling the whole room and the speakers are at half volume. High hats sound amazing and I can hear the aspects of tracks I haven't before.Do you know when you buy something and look at the boxes you have unpacked wondering if they will have to be reused in a return ? Get your recycle bin ready for boxes that you will not be returning !!

    The speakers look and sound nice, allowing for +6db of treble or bas control from the main active speaker, however when 'idle' with nothing playing a popping sound can be heard (like a helicopter is taking off in the distance) , which can become annoying quite quickly if you don't like it. Personally I don't mind these as Im not using them in any professional environment, but others who are more noise sensitive may have an issue with this.This popping happens whatever level the gain is on the front or back, and stay at the same volume anytime the speaker is powered on.Apart from that though the form factor and design is nice, and the sound quality good fir the price point, would recommend if you don't mind the quite popping.

    I have 8” powered monitors in my studio (well area at back of living room with my music equipment), but due to major surgery that takes months to recover from, I wanted some small monitors so that I could sit in my armchair with my MacBook and small portable keyboard and still make music.I chose these. Have to say I’m stunned. The sound is out of this world.Obviously it’s not going to be as good as larger monitors at 8 times the price.At this price and size, I was expecting speakers that would tide me over but sounded very meh. I was completely wrong. They sound stunning, I can’t believe how good they are for the price, even the base is fine, while the bass is obviously not as good as either a larger speaker case or a subwoofer would give, it’s still very good and very usable.I use it with Studio One Daw, Arturia V collection, Native Instruments Komplete 14 CE, Omnisphere etc etc and it handles all of them very well.Very pleased with them.
