Not only are these pens so beautiful to look at with their colours and cute pictures, but they write so nicely. They write really smooth and do not smudge. They are so beautiful and soft to hold.

For some years now I've preferred gel pens to most other writing implements and I'm always keen to try new ones out. The barrels are assorted shades of attractive blues to me. Each pen has a small graphic on it which I like (the bar code less so). There is a foam section at the bottom which makes these really comfortable to hold. When you first use these pens you will find there is a small red bit on the tip which seems to be a seal to keep the ink from drying out. You need to remove this before writing. 0.5 is a pretty fine point and this writing looks very sharp. I have had no blobs so far and the ink does dry remarkably quickly which is great.At a over 3 quid a pen these are not particularly cheap pen. It makes them quite close in price to branded ones. I guess I must say that the black seems more of a very dark grey to me. However I think these do look good and if you are after a comfortable to hold, fine point, gel pen these are well worth a look.

These pens come in a 4 pack. Each pen is comfortable to hold with a soft textured easy to grip section. The pens write smoothly with a fine line and are great for everyday use. Recommended

They are pretty pens. They sadly, didn’t hold up to the A&E test. The ink began to stick, by hour 3 of 12! I’d have returned them, but you know the “can I borrow a pen” type! And never return it to the owner 😔.

These type of pens I have had before, I like them because they write so niceWhen using the pens, I like that 2/3rds down the pen there is a soft sponge partThe reason I like the sponge part, because when holding pens of this type, I am heavy handed and press down hard.So the pen always leaves an indentation on my fingers. I always have had this issue.I am a left handed writer. This is important to state, and the reasons I mention this, some gel pens only write nice when the person is right handed, left handed people find the ink doesn’t come out well, and writing feels scratchy. In this instance with these pens, I haven’t had any issues, and as you can see write quite nice.Really good for anyone and with the school children going back to school, these pens are very nice.If anyone using these pens doesn’t know, please remove the protection on the nib, otherwise the pens will not work. Lovely set of 4 gel pens. Cute design (some funny prints), a soft grip, and an easy clip-on to notepad.Smooth writing and in general decent pens but far too pricey for just 4 as there are branded alternative for the half of the price.

Ok gel pens. Fine to write with, fine nib, but feel a bit scratchy to me.They have a padded foamy grip, which is quite comfy to hold. With prolonged use, I think it could get a bit hot and sweaty!I have the blue set. A couple of the bits of writing on them are a bit odd. One has ‘hello’ printed on the barrel. One has ‘Smike’ Then one is ‘Blue Blue’ and one is ‘Fight-ing’ The last two feel a bit odd to me!They have yellow wax on them (I assume to prevent them from drying out or leaking) Quite easy to remove with a tissue. If you don’t, you’ll have what looks like yellow crayon over your paper.They’re ok pens and perfectly fine as a spare or to keep in my handbag. But they wouldn’t be my go to fave pens.

The He Tao Cat pens arrive in a printed cardboard box - suitable for a gift. 👍no plastic bag.Inside the box are 4 pens I selected blue and each pen has a different shade of blue. They have a printed ‘logo’ on the front and the rollerball nib presses in and out using the top press. There is also a comfortable sponge grip that actually improved my writing and a clip for use in a pocket.The flow of ink was instantaneous and very fast drying. This is a fine pen (0.5mm line) and I prefer a broader line but I cannot fault this pen.The current price is £14.00 for 4. HeTaoCat is currently selling 6 x 0.5 pens for £11.00 on Bolo - so it is worth looking around - but I guess the price will fall soon.Overall good quality and fine to write with.
