I bought these for my 8month old son. Its winter so needed the closed feet for me to put socks underneath but like handsome likes kicking these off so i really do appreciate the zip. Theres no way he kicks hes feet out now! The zip goes two ways so no need to strip baby down when diaper changing. Then i needed the gloves coz little man scratches at night. The material is a good quality cotton and the stitching is really good. I strongly recommend! And will definitely be buying more of hes pjs here! Thank you for such an amazing product
