    On the plus side:- The main nail clippers come with a nail file – these are not so common these days unfortunately but ARE useful, and the one on this item is very effective- Attractive design with matt black top piece / lever- Angled clipper is good for the sides of the nail where you’ve not been able to trim this effectively in the first placeOn the negative side:- Have to squeeze the lever on the main clipper quite hard even for clipping fingernails, and it clicks loudly when it actually cuts- The main clipper is somewhere between the size of a small clipper and a toenail clipper, which will make it feel small in scenarios where a larger size (toenail) clipper is preferred- A lack of packaging (it just comes in a small plastic bag) detracts from the otherwise pleasing design, and prevents it from feeling like any kind of “premium” product - which seems a bit of a shame and a wasted opportunity to "upgrade" the item- I’d have appreciated some instruction on how to best use the smaller angled clipper – which is only 3-4mm across, so has limited applicationOverall a nice pair of clippers that do the job, but with some downsides. The secondary clipper is useful for the sides of tricky toenails, athough I'm not 100% sure this is exactly how it's supposed to be used :)

    This is a really nice nail clipper set, solidly put together. The 1st part is a standard nail clipper, the other part has an angled blade, which makes getting into the edges of nails much easier. It takes a bit of getting used to but the difference it makes is amazing. Really good set, highly recommended.

    This pair of compound lever nail clippers feel pretty good quality and are more than up to the challenge of clipping nails.The larger main clipper is easy to close, great for fingernails, and gives nice clean edges. I found slightly too small for toenails - a wider blade would work better. And the the angled clipper was a little less effective for me - though could be down to not knowing how to use it correctly (I eventually worked out it's for use to cut the rough edges or hangnails that the regular clippers can't reach)It would have been useful for simple instructions to be included. The nail file is really only an emergency substitute for a dedicated regular metal nail file. But the main clipper is still effective and will cut your finger nails cleanly.
