I am delighted with this device, compared to some other aftermarket non integrated CarPlay units this is big with a crystal clear HD screen. Very easy to install just one power cord (unless using aux), and the cord tucks nicely away in my 09 Focus. The device can be connected to the cars speaker through an aux cord or FM transmitter, I personally use the built in FM transmitter so less wires are required, the quality of audio through the transmitter is perfect and doesn’t sound tinny or poor quality. CarPlay is connected wirelessly through Bluetooth with the iPhone and I haven’t encountered any issues after a week of use.

Although from the pictures and wording , it seems this item has both front and rear cameras, it has neither. BE CAREFUL

Looks good and easy to install, sound quality is poor, even through the stereo and via AUX in too. Worst thing is the connection to the phone is intermittent, not good when using it as a sat nav display…..

Bought this CarPlay System As I didn’t wish to pay the extra few hundreds pound to have it integrated into my BMW .I’ve had it 3 days now as I wanted to give it a chance to see , The Apple CarPlay Connect when you first start it. It was quick to connect to your IPhone which is a plus I’ve also tested it by turning the car off and on and it’s speedy when connecting when you get into your car no problems at all.When it came to playing music via the Aux it was perfect yet again good quality , the other features on the system I’m yet to get a hang off.Negatives !!!There was 1 Negative and that’s only thing that has ruined the whole device usage , when it went to Placing down the equipment, The Sticky Bit it would not stick down at that point before anything I thought well it’s over however It had a spare it lasted 9 days! so as i went down to my car the CarPlay that should be stuck down had fell on the car floor dissatisfied don’t waste your money the system might work but unless you wish to super glue it down it ain’t worth it!Making phone calls are good there’s no issues there I’ve tested it with all family members.Receiving SMS is Easy and Efficient and you able to respond back quick and easy via Siri.Hopefully this helps anyone trying to decide whether to buy this item in other words I wouldn’t.

The unit broke after about 1 month so contacted the manufacturer!They pretend to help then nothing!Just kept saying they need to speak to other departments. Poor customer service.

The sticky pads aren’t sticky enough to stick on the dash and I don’t want to screw it on
