I bought this as a second screen for a MacBook Air 2020 as my small screen was hurting my eyes. I have also now streamed Netflix on it through my phone and the picture quality is excellent, the speakers are not mega loud but they are adequate, it has an audio jack as well so possible to connect a louder sound bar.It’s brilliant, the casing and stand are metal and work well, I cannot fault it for the price, and the case is a real bonus.Buy it you’ll be happy with it. It’s not Chinese rubbish 😀

Unboxing from the simple and fairly eco-friendly packaging revealed an included case, the monitor, a power adapter, and a mix of cables (2 x USB C, 1 x USB A to C, 1 x HDMI to mini HDMI). I didn't bother reading the instruction leaflet, but there was a prominent leaflet about avoiding physical damage to the screen.The MonitorThe built in kick stand seems sturdy enough and has a good range of adjustment. The front of the screen is no nonsense, with a relatively narrow bezel, although I would prefer the reflective warranty registration sticker to have been applied to the rear of the unit. The menu buttons are small and fiddly if you have sausages for fingers, but after initial setup you won't need to mess around with these too much. Connection was simple via a single USB C cable (if your machine supports the provision of power and video via that connection) - genuinely plug-and-play. The addition of VESA compatible mounting holes on the rear of the monitor is a welcome addition, although I'm not sure I'll use them much. On first powering on the brightness was set at minimum, but easily adjusted. There were no apparent dead pixels and illumination was reasonably even across the panel. Viewing angles are acceptable too. Text and graphics appeared crisp and well defined, and the 18.5 inch display size is a delightful size. Colour representation appears to be acceptable, and I will check the calibration at some point, although this is not immediately critical for my intended usage. I haven't tried this for any gaming, but if it meets expectation against specification it should deliver credible results.The Included CaseNothing to complain about here, really, as other portable monitors don't include a case. It's a soft, slimline case with a bit of padding and a plush interior lining with a zip along the length for easily slipping the monitor in and out. It has a side pocket for accessories, but care might be wise in use It would, perhaps, benefit from having a carry handle.VerdictTime will tell, but the out-of-box experience was definitely pleasing for the price point.

I was looking for an attractive, lightweight monitor to attach to my Macbook Air for longer spells at my desk. This Cocopar was within my budget and showed good reviews, so I took the plunge. It came the next day, nicely packaged - which always shows care and attention by the supplier - with simple and easy-to-follow instructions for setup. The screen has a mini-HDMI port and two USB-Cs, plus a generous range of cables (although the mini-display adaptor required for one of the recommended setups is not included), and the back has screw holes for attaching a Vesa stand (but make sure the integrated stand is resting in the upward position before attachment so it doesn't block the ports!) Nice sharp picture and colour for everyday applications (I'm not a gamer), but a laptop connection won't power the screen: you'll need to use the wall-plug fitting that comes with it.My delivery included a free two-year warranty on application, along with a discount code and, best of all, a free extra accessory: I chose a travelling stand which will, ironically, be useful for my jerry-built home office. The reply to this submission came with a couple of hours - great service! I will amend this review to I can confirm the stand's arrival.All in all, very pleased with this purchase so far: Cocopar seems like that rare beast these days - a company that prides itself on good products and service.

My first impression is it's an excellent quality monitor. Yet to try it out fully in the field at work, but much better performance (no flicker & good brilliance adjustment) than the "Yodoit" 17.3 " monitor (just returned) with this 18.5" "Cocopar" one (Yooit screen was only £10 cheaper). A nice padded protective case for travel protection is a bonus. Bought the monitor because working with a 14" screen company issued laptop (Dell) was causing severe eye strain on my overseas assignments when compiling reports. Clarity and size of screen is excellent. Tiny spreadsheet fonts and fine photo details, here I come!

I wanted a portable screen which would work via usb3 with my MacBook Air and also as a monitor via HDMI for a BluRay DVD linked to an audio system so I could play music DVDs with good audio.The quality of this Cocopar screen is impressive. I wanted a better than average one and so searched in a slightly higher price bracket. This one is not too pricey, yet stood out due to positive reviews and being metal cased. It is of a good size and worked perfectly straight out of the box. The addition of a padded zip case is another bonus. Connecting just with a usb3 cable from my Air also powers it so less clutter. The built in kick stand seems good.Overall I am very impressed by this seemingly well-engineered product with a premium feel. Early days, but this purchase looks very good. The 2 year guarantee is reassuring.The old desk monitor is no more.

I agree with the other reviews. This is a great monitor. Clear picture quality, easy on the eyes, very light to carry, just plug in the type C to type C and you are good to go. It comes with a protective case and a 2 yr warranty. Wish I found this monitor sooner.
Perfect for my needs. Travel/Remote Work
I bought this January of 2022 for an upcoming 17 day trip to Maui. I had to work on my trip, I need to monitors for my work. I spent months looking for one that would work. My eyes aren’t great so a tiny screen wasn’t going to cut it. I chose this one mainly for the kickstand and it’s versatility. It was perfect on my vacation. It comes with a neoprene sleeve and I packed it in my laptop bag so it was with me and within my control at all times. After a successful vacation I ended up having to have a surgery where I had to be down for several weeks. Once again this monitor came to the rescue. My son got sick and I quarantined him in his room, this monitor plus an Apple TV made it better. It’s so versatile, here I am a year later writing a review to say it was worth the money I spent on it. The only downside I have is on the brightness. It needs to be plugged into its own power source to truly be bright. Something I really needed while on vacation.

Entspricht meinen Erwartungen. Das Bild ist scharf und hell. Über USB C an den Computer angeschlossen wird der Monitor mit Strom versorgt und automatisch verbunden. Wenn man dem Artikel beim Hersteller registriert, erhält man als Gimmick noch entweder ein Kabelbündel oder einen massiven Ständer aus Metall. Apropos Kabel. Die mitgelieferten sind von sehr stabiler Qualität. Alles in allem ist das Produkt den Preis wert und zieht neidische Blicke auf sich.
