I got this to try out as I have trouble falling asleep due to stress and anxiety. The bottle contains 90 capsules and the recommended dose is 1 per day which is good - I found it easy to swallow and no unpleasant taste or smell. Apigenin comes from a class of natural compounds called flavonoids (also in dark chocolate and fruits - great for vascular / heat) - now if you are believer in the health benefits of fresh fruits and vegetables then it's always better to get these naturally - but for those on the go else like me who is busy or always on the go then I believe these supplements can help.I have not yet noticed a significant difference to my sleep quality but I think this will take a few weeks to kick in.

These capsules come in a very expensive looking packaging.The capsules themselves are easy to swallow and contain a cream coloured powder.I experienced no side effects other than a dodgy tummy. This was no longer a problem after following the suggestion that they be taken with a meal.Too early to validate any claims of the benefits as need to do more tests.Shall update with any further discoveries.

The Apigenin Pro supplement by Insynergy comes in an opaque white bottle containing 90 capsules, each having 100mg of 98% pure Apigenin. The opaqueness of the bottle protects the contents from the action of sunlight. The batch no and expiry date (giving 12 months useful life in my case) are printed in black font on the white underside of the bottle so that it is very easy to read this information. Nothing artificial is added in that the shell is a vegetable substance and brown rice flour is used as a filler or binding agent. It is made in the UK to HACCP, GMP and ISO 9001 manufacturing standards. Each capsule contains 100mg which is twice the amount most commonly found in supplements. The bottle was really well-protected against tampering as 1) clear polythene was tightly wrapped around the lid 2) a "loose" seal was under the lid and 3) a seal was firmly secured to the neck of the bottle.Apigenin is found in chamomile and in various foods such as celery and it is reputed to have anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-cancer properties as well as a helper of the immune system and good cognitive functioning. Since it has been found to increase longevity in animal experiments and to improve sleep in some elderly humans, it is hoped that it can reverse the vicious circle whereby poor sleep accelerates ageing which in turn worsens sleep. This vicious circle can also adversely effect the microbiome in the small intestine and colon through which Apigenin is absorbed and processed. As I am myself ageing with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and disrupted sleep (due to nightly visits to the toilet), I am particularly hopeful to experience an improvement in gut health, ageing and sleep which are all connected. It will obviously take some time and, having taken one capsule nightly for about a week, I have not registered any positive or negative effects.Apigenin shows great promise in various scientific studies and this supplement is a product of excellence under various aspects - the pure ingredients used, the standard of manufacturing, the careful packaging and the price for a 3-month supply of double the normal dose of this important flavonoid. Recommended. 5 stars.

I’ve only just recently discovered this brand Insynergy labs. I have to say that I’m delighted to find a new brand that is UK based and focuses on innovation and isolating compounds. I am a bit of a geek when it comes to biohacking and Nutrition and I like to experiment with compounds on their own when it’s something new that I’m adding in because I need to test the efficacy. There are far too many companies that just makes loads of ingredients in the supplements and then you really don’t know what’s actually working.I’ve not come across Apigenin at all so did a big deep dive into what it could potentially offer. At the moment I’m not seeing any big leaps of improvement or difference in my health but it’s early days and the most important thing of all is that I have trust in the provenance and quality of the supplement.
