first off, the cons - not a fan of the colourway i got. i wanted flamingo switches but they were out of stock with the grey/green version. went with the baby blue one, and while it looks nice still, white legends on pastel blue keycaps are impossible to read in a dimly lit room. this is a very minor complaint (i mean, the grey version doesn't have shinethru either so in the dark it has the same issue, but the contrast is much higher so it's not as bad)E Key felt substantially worse than any other alpha keyHowever!2. Was immediately rendered fixed by epomaker giving you a bunch of extra switches in the box. Having one scratchy switch, which I'd guess was a bad lubing, itself completely fixable, is actually well above what i expect from stock keyboards, so it's not really a conPros -Practically everything else. For sub 100, this is a better stock experience than I've seen from 150gbp+ boards, a knob that actually feels good to use and isn't just a gimmick that's only used to switch connection mode (more common than you'd think), and an lcd screen that I do think is just a gimmick but doesn't take up too much space or detract from the rest of the product. Great value.Flamingo switches felt fantastic straight out of the box (with the exception of the lone sad e). Keycaps, while ABS (generally seen as worse than PBT) feel like good ABS. They're better than a lot of stock PBT caps I've used. Sounds great without modding. Spacebar stabiliser, often a weak point stock, really solid. Can't complain at all about the overall typing experience.Neither a pro or con but worth noting -Weird implementation of gasket mounting. It -is- technically gasket mounted, but it's not really giving the flex you might expect from traditional gasket mounting. Personally, this was a positive - i prefer stiffer boards - but your mileage may vary.Only options for switched are linear??? Epomaker what's going on lads? Doesnt bother me since im a linear guy but what gives? You're leaving cash on the table with that choiceSoftware is... Weird. When it works, it's actually an alright experience, not bloated like razer or steelseries offerings. What's strange is that rgb effect names do not line up with what they are on the lcd screen - this is easily fixable in updates probably, but more strange is that if you change an effect that doesn't use dazzle to have it, or one that has it to a single colour, the software has a small chance of not working until you close and reopen it, or switch back to a "normal" effect combo. I've reproduced this a bunch of times. All that is to say, weird software quirks right now. With any luck epomaker can fix them with future updates
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Keyboard
I got this with a £10 off voucher as an offer on Bolo and thought I would take the risk. And omg idk how I would cope without this in my life. Not only has it boasted my productivity but I can’t find and flaws. One thing I will say is the software is a bit hard to get your head sound but you get there in the end.It is bright and really easy to set up. It connects instantly and is a portable size. It is rigid and high quality. I would feel happy putting it in a case and not even thinking of it getting damaged it is that strong looking and feeling. The extra caps are a must personally. And the budgerigar switches in my opinion is a more louder snappy sound than the bluebird. The bluebird is more warm and rounded in my opinion. I prefer thebudherigar as I love that clickyness. It is amazing for the money and highly recommended. 🤘 10/10
4.0 out of 5 stars Love this keyboard, but battery life is worse than expected and some connectivity issues
Looks great, feels great to type on. My only issues are small ones.Keycap letters: the backlight from behind them isn't enough to make them visible in a dark room, so you'll need at least a desklamp on if you're someone who needs to see the lettering.Battery life: I've been disappointed by the battery. I work from home so I use the keyboard a fair amount, but my manual logs show a 100% full charge at 3:35 pm going down to 93% by 2:33 pm, and that's with the keyboard sleeping intermittently between active typing periods. 6 days later at 9.25 am, with 2 of those days being a weekend and only work use on weekdays, it was 0%. I think this is less than what was indicated in the marketing, but I couldn't find an exact battery expectation so maybe I'm incorrect. I've also found that the keyboard says it's 100% when I've fully charged it, then drops to a different number in the 90s the second I take the charger cable out.Connectivity: I mostly use wireless, most of the time it works great. There is a significant delay for me when the keyboard wakes, but never more than 5 seconds, which I can live with. With the wired cable, I'm getting a 'the last USB device you inserted was not recognised', malfunctioning Windows error. But it charges fine. Occasionally, the connection will just fully drop and I'll have to turn Bluetooth back on and off again for it to reconnect properly after sleeping.
Amazing to touch, type and visualize
I recently purchased this keyboard during a Prime Day sale. I could never justify spending over $150 on a keyboard, but I got this one for a steal. From the moment I received the box, I knew it was all quality. It comes well-packaged with everything you need plus extras like switches, keycaps, and a puller. It's truly hot-swappable and can connect via a cord, Bluetooth, or the 2.4GHz wireless receiver that it comes with. The metal construction feels extremely sturdy. The typing experience is excellent with the flamingo switches; it sounds and feels great.I had never experienced what a $150+ keyboard feels like until I received this one, and it doesn't disappoint. The LCD screen is easy to use, and functions with FN + PGDN to cycle through available screens. To add more images and GIFs, the EpoMaker software is necessary and very easy to use. You can also reassign keys and create custom macros if desired. The knob changes modes and is a significant improvement over having to manipulate the keyboard to find the switch or using an FN + key combination. I actually prefer it now.I've only had it for a few days, so I'm still discovering more features daily. One minor note is that the keycaps are not shine-through, and the RGB lighting isn't the brightest due to that. However, the keycaps themselves are of high quality and can be felt upon touch. The battery life is great too; I'm still on the first charge with 36% left after using it all day for work and extended gaming sessions. I would definitely recommend this keyboard; now, all my other keyboards are just decor.5.5 / 5(Please note: I added the tiny McDees to it and that isn't included with the package)
Amazing Keeb~!
I love how it looks, feels, sounds, it's amazing! I'm glad I got a hold of it before they sold out! I love how it goes well with my setup and love the LED screen. It's a thocky keeb and I love it. The RGB is beautiful as well.
Absolutely ridiculous value on sale
Picked up this bad boy with the wisteria switches for $43. I can't even find a barebone wireless 65% kit for that price, let alone a wireless gasket mount tkl with decent keycaps and switches and a tiny screen. It has good build quality, it sounds creamy, the (SA profile?) keycaps are solid, there's absolutely no stabilizer rattle, and it connects perfectly. The wisterias are like a slightly lighter gateron yellow -- smooth if a tiny bit wobbly, but not too bad. It comes with a braided cable, a few extra switches, several yellow accents (which I will not use but are nice to have), and a nice little combo keycap/switch puller. You can upload a gif to the tiny screen. The rgb settings can be a bit janky, but I was able to get them to do what I want.
Versatile and Smooth Typing Experience with Stunning RGB and Sound
The EPOMAKER TH80-X is an outstanding keyboard for both gaming and office use. The 75% layout is compact yet functional, with all the keys I need within easy reach. The Gateron Pro Yellow switches provide a smooth and satisfying typing experience. The triple mode connectivity allows seamless switching between devices, which is great for multitasking. I love the RGB lighting, which is vibrant and customizable. The LCD screen is a nice touch, adding a modern flair. With its 4000mAh battery, it lasts a long time between charges. This keyboard has become an essential part of my setup! On top of that, it sounds quite good.
Th 80x
Simplesmente um excelente teclado, mesmo com as taxas absurdas que temos de pagar, o que dobra o preço do produto, ele é muito bom. E sinceramente, gostei mais do que os da Logitech.
