5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing camera
The GoPro Hero 12 Black is an amazing camera which comes with tons of features including the 5.3K video quality which can record up to 60fps and 4k at 120 fps which is truly amazing. If you want to take pictures with the camera it comes with a 27MP camera lens that is still sharp and detailed but in my opinion, I recommend taking pictures with it.The hyper smooth 6.0 is also truly amazing you could be doing any type of physical activity e.g. skiing or biking down a mountain or through rough terrain or just holding the camera in your hand it will stay butter smooth. The battery life has improved since the Go Pro 11. GoPro had always had critiques regarding it's battery life. The Hero 12 offers a significant update to the Hero 11 offering up to 70% longer battery life. In my opinion, it’s a game-changer.It's very easy to use with its already pre-configured presets that come with the camera which you could just “point and shoot” for basic user. You also have an option for pro controls for creators who would like to have full control over their camera settings. Are there any drawback. In my opinion the Go GoPro Hero 12 its nearly perfect. The price is very premium which might deter casual users. The GoPro has improved low-lighting performance but it is still not as strong as DSLRs cameras of mirrorless models in very dark conditions. In conclusion, if you are into capturing epic moments of your family vacations or in general, the Go GoPro Hero 12 Black is the best option for you and you won’t regret it. I would say it's not a camera it’s a ticket to creating great memories :)
5.0 out of 5 stars Still the best
Bought this bundle when it was on offer, so saved a reasonable amount compared to buying separately - package contained camera, hand grip, 2x batteries, helmet attachment and case. The action cam provides a good variety of configuration options, footage is excellent and stable. Now that these latest models are waterproof and have built-in mounting ‘fingers’ means that you don’t have to add to the bulk with cases/mounts. I find the hand grip extremely useful and comfortable, I can keep the camera dangling from my wrist when not in use so it doesn’t always need holding. The Quik app is useful for accessing footage using your phone/tablet, although I haven’t done any editing.A great bit of kit.
5.0 out of 5 stars GOPro Hero12
A fun toy to have, very good quality pictures and videos, get the best out of it by watching YouTube. Very adaptive camera for capturing your adventures.
4.0 out of 5 stars Not much of a improvement over GoPro 11.
I purchased the GoPro 12 Black on the very first day of its release, eager to discover any significant differences from my trusty 11 Black. Here are my takeaways:1. Speedy Menus and Responsiveness: Gone are the lags and delays. The menus are now fast and responsive.2. Carry Case Absence: Unfortunately, GoPro doesn't include a carry case, which can be disappointing if you don't already have one.3. 1/4" Mounting Addition: The addition of a 1/4" mounting option at the bottom is a welcome feature. However, if you're already invested in the GoPro ecosystem, you probably have numerous backward-compatible items with the standard GoPro mounting mechanism.Picture Quality:In bright daylight, there's a negligible difference in picture quality between the 11 and the newly released 12 Black. Details are represented similarly in standard mode. GP-Log: GP-Log seems pretty much useless, as it's challenging to grade and not particularly useful. HDR: The HDR mode is decent, but the reproduction of details in bright areas appears somewhat artificial to me. Dark areas are slightly lifted compared to standard mode. However, you're limited to a frame rate of 30, and you can only shoot at certain ratios – there's no open gate 8:7 (entire sensor readout). Voice and Earphone Controls: While I haven't tested these features yet, the addition of voice control and earphone control is a welcome addition to the GoPro family. Low-Light Performance: Unfortunately, there hasn't been any noticeable improvement in low-light performance compared to the Hero 11. Picture Brightness: The pictures are bright, and detail reproduction is okay, but subpar with newly released smartphones. Can be used as a whole but when cropped the fall of details is significant. Hypersmooth 6.0: I couldn't discern any substantial difference between Hypersmooth 6.0 and 5.0 from the Hero 11. Autoboost: Autoboost is a nice feature that dynamically adjusts the strength of the Hypersmooth stabilization. It's particularly useful for those engaging in dynamic sports. The product itself is solid and well-made, with slightly improved responsiveness. However, I did encounter a camera crash during the initial firmware update, which was perilously close to bricking itself. Thankfully, a manual update via SD card resolved the issue. In summary, if you can find a used Hero 11 Black on sale or a promotional offer for around £300-350, it might be a better choice. Otherwise, if you're in the market for a new GoPro, the 12 Black is a viable option. In my opinion, it should be named the GoPro 11 Black S, as the improvements make it feel like a patched version of the 11 Black. For low light it is still a no-go(pro), Action 4 could be a better option for you.
5.0 out of 5 stars Still going strong months down the line and nothing less than what the Hero 13 can offer
Still going strong months down the line and nothing less than what the Hero 13 can offer, never had issue with overheating (a patch was actually released last two weeks to tweak that further) and I used that extensively in Florida and I used it regularly in a not so ventilated space, 4k 30fps. In 4k 120fps then it does heats up, however you need to wonder why you would use 120fps which is for action shoot if your camera is stationary to start with.Better looking than the 13 too, shame it lack of the GPS functionalities.
Excelente câmera
Atendeu minha expectativa
Can I give it 6 stars?
Hands down my favorite product I have ever ordered from Bolo. And I am so grateful I got the package with all the accessories. The batteries are high quality and lasts a long time. The GoPro is versitile. I use it for skiing, traveling states, mounting on vehicles, use it on airplanes. water, desert, home, etc. I love bringing it everywhere I go, since it's pretty lightweight and packable. The night shots are really good, and if youre fantastic at post editing, this is going to be a great purchase for you. You can edit so many settings for whatever you want. Whether it's HyperLapse or star videos or great selfies or rad videos, this GoPro is a perfect camera. I have had zero issues with it and it's my favorite product. Heavy duty, secure, high quality, backed by a great company.
