    Cute little set with the tiny turtles being a particular favourite. Took me (a grown adult) about 50 minutes to build. Nice to see Lego have moved to paper packaging.

    This set is so very Minecraft! The transparent windows, the shape of the turtles, they squarishness of it all and the way children are able to transfer their building skills and engineering into the reality that is not virtual is priceless. We particularly loved the baby turtles and the house in the shape of the turtle is brilliant. It was very easy to build for an experienced child and it did not take long. It appears to be very sturdy (unless the box that it sits in collapses and it all smashes on the floor, as ours did, after which I had to leave it and postpone the photo-taking).This is the first year that I have become quite tired of all the plastic Lego brings into our home. We have all our sets fully intact, we love Lego, but I think the move to the olden day ways would have been so beneficial - to all. Lego used to be wooden. It was a very different toy back then, and would, no doubt, be very expensive were it wooden now. But I would, honestly, pay the full price of several sets combined together and get only one intricate wooden toy of the same level of ingenuity that would last us years and would be kept as a keep-sake.
