The media could not be loaded. Having used a cordless vacuum for years, it’s scary how dirty our carpets clearly were until we got this corded Shark! My photo shows how much was brought up during the first use in 4 average sized rooms one day after using our old vacuum.This vacuum is fairly heavy but that is too be expected and doesn’t really matter as it is easy to manoeuvre left and right and around corners. You can also change it into a more portable vacuum for skirting boards, sofas etc.There are three settings - one for hard floors, one for average carpet and one for thick pile. They all seem to work well.Easy to empty too!Oh and I love the light on the front which makes it far easier to see what your doing in various lights.Excellent value for money given how much more powerful it is than our previous cordless kit!

This hoover has great suction, it removed loads of pet hairs even after I had hoovered earlier in the day. It is a wee bit heavy so need to be careful when hoovering close to edges, or just use the attachments.

I love Shark vacuums but it was time to upgrade with having 2 labs that she'd 24/7 365 (lab owners will understand) The suction on this is awesome. Easy to empty and the odour control pod is a fantastic idea. My only gripe is that the hose should be longer or extendable as I have a really high ceiling on my stairs and I cannot reach the cobwebs!! Worth the money and I'm very impressed with it.

Wanting to invest in another vacuum cleaner with better suction (cordless Shark better for Lino floors rather than carpet) I opted for this model to deal with my black labrador’s all year round hair loss. I’m really impressed with the Shark Stratos Pet Pro. With clear instructions it was super easy to unpack and put together and whilst it is indeed a bit on the heavy side (don’t be put off by that alone as it’s a really solid vacuum cleaner) it picked up the dog hair with ease, including lots more dust that was trapped in the carpet. I have to vacuum everyday and after the first use there was far less dust in the container, so clearly not just ripping up carpet fibres. The dust collector is easy to remove and as entire bottom flap opens emptying is also easy, if not a little dusty. I do struggle to reconnect it back on the main base, more practice required ! My only gripe is that the pipe is not very long and is stiff which tips the Shark unit if you try to pull it too far away. Even when you ‘lift away’ the dust collector it feels cumbersome and awkward to use and the suction is definitely not as good when compared to my Henry vacuum cleaner. Having said that, if you’re looking to purchase one because pet hair is the bane of your life, I can highly recommend this vacuum cleaner, it is superb for this purpose!

We had just got a new cat who sheds black and white hair in amazing quantities. Our current vacuum cleaner didn't hack it so it was off to which for reviews and advice. This came top. In fact, I don't remember seeing anything other than Shark in the recommended or best buy sections.It arrived, nicely packaged with no plastic. Putting it together was easy and then it was time to switch it on!Twice over the rug and all cat hair had gone, the rug looked as good as new! The hose detaches easily and the attachments work well on stair carpets. When using it on hard floors like wood and tile it is remarkably quiet.The only downside is that it's a bit heavy and slightly bulky, but lighter models are available with reviews that match on everything but capacity.

After using Dyson for a number of years having multiple models and all suffering from poo build quality and loss of suction over time, made the switch to shark and it’s like night and day the build quality is a lot better it’s sleek and stylish but most importantly It cleans so much better. There are different settings dependent on surface and very easy to use and a lot quieter than a Dyson

Large tank size does whole house without having to empty.We have 2 golden retrievers and it picks up fur well with great suction and so far hasn’t got clogged up.It is quite heavy to move about as its one downside but the benefits outweigh this for us and it is the best vacuum we have owned. We previously had a cheaper shark model and this is much better value if you have heavy shedding dogs.
