This 8 pack of Hellmann's mayonnaise offers 580ml squeezy bottles that make it super easy to get just the right amount of mayo for your dishes.The mayonnaise has that classic, well balanced Hellmann's taste that's not too sweet or salty, with subtle hints of mustard. It's not overly greasy either, which is a plus.While the flavour is spot on, it would be great if they used healthier oils like cold pressed olive oil, but that might be asking too much. All in all, this is the same old classic Hellmann's taste we know and love, with no noticeable flaws. If you're a fan of Hellmann's mayonnaise, this 8 pack is a convenient choice.

This pack of eight 580ml bottles of Hellmann’s real Mayonnaise arrives in a Hellman’s branded, cardboard box. The box is serrated in such a way that you can peal back part of the front and top of the box, in order to display the bottles on a counter top should you wish to.The bottles are made from 100% recycled plastic. Both the bottle and lid have a Resin ID Number of 1 (PET/PETE - Polyethylene terephthalate), which makes them widely recyclable in their own right.The lid of the bottle provides a nice stable base to stand the bottle up on. When you first use a bottle, there is an inner seal that is fairly easy to remove. And in use, the squeezy mechanism works really well and doesn’t make a mess.Taste is always going to be subjective, but there is a reason that just as Heinz is the de facto go to for ketchup, Hellman’s is the de facto go to mayonnaise - it’s that good.The bottles I received had a best before date that was 8 months away from the time I received them. Once opened the mayonnaise should be used within 2 weeks if left out, or within 3 months if put in the fridge.This mayonnaise is suitable for vegetarians and the label carries the European Vegetarian Union mark.In conclusion, this is a lovely mayonnaise that comes in a 100% recycled bottle, with a very good, no mess dispensing mechanism. At the current price of £28.00 for 8 bottles, it works out at £3.50 per bottle, which seems reasonable (I’ve only ever seen it cheaper when on special offer).~ Ethics Statement: Bolo provided me with this product and asked that I give my honest and impartial opinion about it. It is difficult to imagine that anyone reading this has not heard of the brand, if you want mayonnaise you know this is an option. So why or why not chose this mayo in this bottle type?Firstly the bottle and squeezy end. Hellmanns have got this spot on. The fact that it has not been adopted by the other big brands makes me think they have a patent on it it is very well designed no mess.Taste. Subjective but this is a great tasting mayo that I always come back to by default when I stray. Its a five star taste for me.I was interested that I can open it and keep it for two weeks on the table (great for catering) or three months in the fridge. The Best Before Bate on these is in eight months time.Its vegetarian, I am glad that over recent years manufacturers have kept a great taste and allowed me to cook with as many as possible of my friends in mind.My reviews follow this star rating:1 Star; Very unsatisfactory product. I love this stuff and this big bulk pack is going to ensure i have enough homemade egg mayo and mayo on my chips for the next several months. I'm super happy about that! Egg mayo sandwiches are my foodie love and this mayo is perfect for this. I simply boil some eggs, put them in a bowl, squirt a load of this mayo on them and squish and chop through them with a fork with a sprinkling of black pepper, salt and Worcestershire sauce. YUM. These are very large bottles, not the small ones and they're squirty bottles which makes life simple and also keeps the mayo inside fresh and free from containments that could make it go off quicker. Loving it.

In terms of storage, the best-before date on these bottles is set at 8 months from the time of purchase. Plus, once you open a bottle, you have the flexibility to keep it on your table for up to 2 weeks or in the fridge for up to 3 months. That's quite convenient!For those who are health-conscious or have dietary preferences, you'll be glad to know that this mayonnaise is labelled as suitable for vegetarians, and it proudly carries the European Vegetarian Union mark. However it is made from real eggs so depends on your thoughts there.In summary, I find this mayonnaise to be both delicious and practical. The fact that it comes in a 100% recycled bottle with a no-mess dispensing mechanism is a big plus.

It always has to be Hellmann's mayonnaise! Perfect with salads, on a burger, with a plate of chips (Hellmann's one side of the plate; ketchup the other), sandwiches, etc. I'm sure there are plenty of artistan alternatives out there, but I like to stick with what I know!
