As the winter around, my skin becomes very dry and sensitive.This moisturizing balm has become a versatile essential in my skincare routine now. Its versatility is a significant advantage including lips, eyes, cheeks, neck, hands, and even feet, making it a one-stop solution for moisturizing different parts of the body.It contain ginger extract that gives a warm effect as well with out irritating the skin.Also, the scent is very pleasent.What sets it apart are the natural ingredients, notably avocado for skin repair, glycerin for combatting dryness, and macadamia nuts to target dry lines.One of the standout features that I like the most is its smooth application, and it has a light texture that doesn't feel heavy on the skin. The balm stick is compact and rotatable, much like a lipstick, making it incredibly convenient to carry around.     doesn't feel nice on the lips, quite drying, the face is better and leaves a matte finish but feel its better at giving a matte finish than moisturising

    The best thing about this is how easy it is to throw in your purse or have on your nightstand. It’s not the best moisturizer I’ve used but it does come in handy & is very easy to apply, I love the stick option. I’ve used it both without makeup & on top of it with no issues. I thought it would give my cheekbones a subtle glow but it doesn’t really do that. I mostly keep it on my nightstand & put it on my feet, hands & lips before I go to sleep. I have VERY dry skin so for me, this isn’t moisturizing enough so I do still need to use my regular cream but it’s quite handy for sure. For $12.99 I think it’s a fair deal, it does come in handy for quick moisturizing especially in these winter months.

    Update: It's May 2024 and I have been using the balm on and off. It has help underneath my eyes and helps with crow feet around my eyes. It hasn't cause any irritation and has help with moisturizing around my eyes. I am still pretty happy with balm.This Derol moisturizing balm stick works well on my skin. I have combo oily, acne prone, sensitive skin. I am also in my late 40s and looking to keep my skin healthy. This moisturizing balm stick helps keep my skin moisturized through the day, it does feel a little greasy and shiny on my skin, but I feel it's a little grief I can deal with to have better skin. This stick is NOT a primer in anyway. I also applied it on my lips because I forgot my chapstick and this help keep my lips from cracking. The balm didn't irritate my skin but I felt that using too much may cause my skin to break out. I break out often with any changes in skin care. This didn't cause any new breakouts yet, but it has only been a few days. Since it's makes me feel greasy, I am using it mostly at night after my face cream, mostly around my eyes and smile lines. I like it and will update if anything changes.

    Maybe it's just the matte stick, but this one was not as moisturizing as I wanted it to be. I think it would work well for dry elbows and fingers because it does feel emollient. But it doesn't make your skin look smoother, so it's not great for the face.I did love the packaging. It felt sturdy and there's a ton of product inside. It's also a pretty container, which is nice. The cream glides on smoothly without warping the serum stick itself.I personally enjoyed the scent, but be aware that it has a strong floral aroma. If you're sensitive to smells or don't like floral notes, this may not work for you.
