Item was not a UK phone, activated in India in sept 2023. No NFC or samsung warranty. returned immediately using their own printed return form. They claimed it had been sent to wrong address and I had to wait for the tracked package to return to me. When again returned to them they have deducted a returns charge and failed to refund the postage the two returns incurred. I am currently £37.98 out of pocket for something miss sold.

Samsung Galaxy A14 5g 6GB / 128GB - so far so good. This is an Indian variant phone but I am using UK sims Vodafone and O2. The phone itself is slim, lightweight and feels nice in your hand. Icons a little babyish but these can be changed. Signed up for Samsung so can get Samsung TV - however still exploring this. The actual handset is easy to use. The best bonus is having the micro sd slot side by side to the sim cards. Both physical sim slots are volte enabled over LTE. The battery however does not last as long as I might have hoped and I don't have many things downloaded to the phone. But I have transferred across my Signal. Please do this using the wired method. It will not work over wifi.. The other thing I am not sure about is that when I go to amend a contact detail, I can't press hard and it opens up for me to amend. It's a few more steps to change and there is not a Contacts icon only - you need to go thro the phone icon and choose contacts on right hand side. I'm not used to that coming from an LG model. I'd be interested in any one else's thoughts on that. I think one way around that is to make your own icon via playstore.I really like the screen and being able to set it to dark mode always on - there is even a dimmer dark mode through settings which I have not seen on any other phone. I would really recommend watching some of the youtube sites to get that extra information on set up.So far so goodI feel for the price I paid I have a decent phone. I just need it to last for at least another 3 years.Long story short I bought another handset as a spare. Not too expensive at £155.00Update 25 June 2024The battery does not last as long I would hope. Maybe about 2 days of just normal use. 4 days using the battery saver options and general use. Still finding my way around but the best thing is there is no glare and having the phone on dim/eye comfort is great.Taking photos in bright sunlight is difficult. Picture quality is not that great, Video recording is good.Photos - since putting all my photos on it has merged 3 of my folders, which is something I do not want. I cannot find a method how to undo that and am hesitant to delete in case the photos are deleted across all 3 folders. Again if anyone has any ideas on this please reach out.I found the Contacts icon altho it's still a faff to amend details. Maybe that is a Samsung thing.Overall I am still happy with phone.NB Its August now. Found some glitches i,e touch sensitive when trying to open an icon app, but phone is still good. I found out it has great call recording features. And its so good not having to swop out to put in a sd card too.

The phone itself is generally ok however I find unlocking can be annoying. The screen is not very sensitive so it takes multiple attempts to get the 4 numbers to register.I just found out after creating a a great deal of hassle in a supermarket it does not support contactless payment. I thought all modern phones had that capability. Even my old 2017 Samsung did.

Other the obvious, it is how I keep an eye on my mother when I'm out of the house. When tuned into her monitor, I can keep an eye on her. Given me a new lease of life.
