I wanted a pair of stereo wireless speakers for our living room. It’s about 5.5m x 4.5m with a high ceiling. They needed to be compatible with Apple AirPlay 2.I have a really great quality hifi separates system in another room which is like the proper listening room. But sound quality is very important to me even with these smaller speakers in the main living room. I also didn’t want them to be too big.I also trialled a pair of HomePod 2 speakers and a pair of Sonos Era 100. These Denon speakers blew both of them out of the water for sound quality. Like night and day. Really natural full rich room-filling sound with a balanced frequency response right across the spectrum. A pleasure to listen to.They paired with my Apple Home system easily and it was also easy to set them up as a stereo pair, using Denon’s HEOS app. The pair now appear as one speaker to choose when I’m streaming to AirPlay. And they’re in perfect sync with any other speakers I’m streaming to in the house. The HEOS app also lets you tune the sound to the environment, spending on how close each speaker is to a wall or corner. You also have an EQ to play with if you need to.I can’t believe the rich full balanced hifi sound these produce, especially for the price. I was expecting a compromise for a small speaker at this price but there’s very little. Delighted and amazed by these speakers.

The media could not be loaded. I've tried several smart speakers in the effort to replace my Echo Dot with something more beefy sounding. This was easily the best of the bunch in its price range.It's small yet powerful. The sound quality is easily up there with the best in this category. It's not too bass heavy, but has plenty of body. My wife absolutely loves the touch sensitive controls that light up when you move near them.For me, I liked how easily I was able to set this up with Alexa. As it uses Heos, and not it's own app, it made it a breeze to be up and running. Some of the other brand speakers were near impossible.Another good point was the Wi-Fi signal range. Some other speakers completely failed at the same distance that this easily performs.I honestly have no cons for this speaker. It's a keeper.

I bought this as my main speaker for a room. It works very well. I like the look, the sound, how it is used. There are however some issues, which I would have preferred to know before purchasing:- I have all my music stored in MS cloud. The app, which you have to use to play the music does not allow a connection to cloud.- When I play music from my phone connected via Bluetooth, it keeps cracking ... I would say about every few seconds.- When playing music from my phone, it does not recognize my playlists from the phone - really annoying.I am impressed with the selection of radio stations in the app, which I listen to regularly.

The 150 is a high quality Denon speaker, with excellent connectivity. It has a traditional Denon sound with modern innerds. It looks smart and is small and unobtrusive, ideal for a smaller room or kitchen etc. It is not able to produce sterio as a single unit, but is still very capable. The installation is pretty good and doesn't require you to reconfigure your entire system, unlike some other units software does. Personally, I think the software on all brands is a bit arcane and clunky, but the HEOS is probably the best of the lot for non-tech users. I could have lived with the 150, but eventually I returned it and now have a pair of 250 in a stereo set up and is working very well indeed.

I had to get another speaker, as for some reason the Sonos One wouldn't connect to WiFi when we switched to Virgin Media.I tried a couple of others that just didn't hit the spot, but this is definitely a contender. It's probably not quite as good as Sonos in all honesty (not quite the same depth and richness), but it's definitely very close.I did notice that it needs a bit of time to 'break in' and audio quality has improved with repeated listens.

Amazing sound
Amazing sound and integrates seamlessly with the other Denon speakers, have my tv going through a Denon av receiver and wirelessly out through multiple speakers, this one added to them and it’s flawless.

Great sound and lots of features
The Denon Home 150 is the best wireless speaker I have purchased so far. I wanted the DLNA feature to play music from my NAS. I found the Denon better than my Bose. There are so many options to stream music, fantastic.Ross
