    I am extremely impressed with the Gillette OneBlade.     Bought to replace a broken old multi-comb beard trimmer.I have a hair trimmer which is too big and clumsy for face, and I initially ordered another traditional beard trimmer which I also found too bulky.I have a couple of electric shavers which have a pop-up trimmer but likewise they’re a bit unwieldy and imprecise.So I thought I’d try this.In the hand it’s not much bigger than a typical blade trimmer, a little heavier of course with a wider handle. The handle itself has rubber grip around the outer edges but not on the front or rear, which I feel would have made it easier to hold firmly. It also has a charge status LED which is better than nothing but not as good as a display as it doesn’t light up in normal use. I’ve not run it low enough to see if it comes on when low, I suspect it may, but I don’t know how much time remaining that gives you if it does.Initially, having not used a blade razor since a teenager (decades ago) I found it odd to hold as you use this against the direction of growth rather than with it, but you can push it upwards rather than ‘pull’ - if that makes sense - as the blade has two edges much like an old-fashioned razor-bladed shaver before disposables that most won’t remember.The angle of the head is also perhaps more vertical than feels natural, to me at least, but I’ll probably get used to that.Using the edge to trim around the mouth is the most tricky part to me as the cutting edge is too wide so you tend to use the corner of the cutting edge held at 90 degrees to the hair. That’s its weakest point to my mind, a smaller ‘blade’ would be better here.The Combs - well, they work, but I’m a little confused about the benefits of using either the single-edged combes for face and the double-edged combes for body…the instructions here are useless, a few tiny pictures just give a clue of how to use them, but I just find the one that gives me the length I want whether it’s a green body one or a black face one. With the version I have most of them are pretty short though, for a longer beard or body hair a different choice of heads might benefit, there’s an adjustable head available that might be better, I may het the after-market one and try that.The cutting blades themselves are like a normal trimmer but on a miniaturized scale, with a smooth, low-friction top face which glides up or down smoothly, for me at least, without causing any irritation even without any comb attachments.They are built into a head which attaches to the handle with retaining pegs, and swivel a small amount to allow some angle variation, but I felt this a little ineffective and limited to follow contours or provide much flexibility of handle angle, but it’s early days of using it for me so I’ll probably get used to it.The heads are released by a button on the neck of the handle but I found when taking combs off that this releases easily before the comb comes off.The cut using no attachment is not a close shave but leaves a very short stubble. It’s very quick to use and glides without snagging. Perfect for what I wanted. I don’t have heavy or dark facial growth so it’s barely visible on me, but it feels like stubble.For my somewhat sparse ‘goatee’ (I’m just lazy) the combs work well enough if on the short side, they’re easy to run over my chin and lips quickly to leave a short growth.All in all, while having only used it a few times, and despite what I’ve listed above as the ‘shortcomings’ in my limited experience so far, I like it. It’s quick and easy to maintain a short beard and keep the other facial areas appearing ‘shaved’.And for under-arms and such like it’s fairly good too.It’s small, light, and perfect for travel use if you don’t want a proper close shave from it.We’ll see about durability, battery and blade life as time goes on.Update after 3 months;I like it! I’ve got used to holding it more like a typical bladed razor. Most of the time I just use it without combs for getting rid of a few days’ growth as, after a trim with this, with my light growth and hair colour that’s enough to look like I’ve shaved although you can still feel it.For trimming longer or denser growth I found it works well going in the direction of growth first, then for a closer cut, go against the direction of growth.So far I’ve never nicked any skin.Battery seems to last for ages. I’ve not even seen a battery low light let along got near running it out.For travel it’s way lighter than a normal electric shaver or trimmer.All good! Upgrade to 5*.

    I wish i found this product ten years ago this is incredible. i have never in my life used a razor on my legs without cutting myself at least 5 times per shave, my skin is so sensitive and so thin, i ALWAYS have razor burn, rash, bumps you name it, but not with this! i shaved my legs that i haven’t shaved in maybe a year, dry, and it’s like i literally shaved with a razor im absolutely blown away. i used this on my intimate area and it still shaved bald, but i did get a few nicks from it there though :( but only on the creased bits when i wasn’t being careful, so bare that in mind! be careful using it there if you have really sensitive skin, like im not exagerating, my skin there will cut if you look at it wrong haha so if you never cut yourself with a razor there then you’ll genuinely be fine, my skin just cuts like tissue paper. but this shaver is hands down the best thing i’ve ever used, i didn’t believe people when they said it shaved bald because that’s insane but it really really does!! my only issue is shaving *that* area i get a few nicks. it’s so fast and easy to use i was so rough and carefree with it on my legs and it still was perfect! took me two minutes and it’s shaved my thighs no problem as my hair there is suuuper fine and tiny not even a razor can shave it off it’s so fine, and the thick dark hairs near your ankle! even shaved my knees with no cuts! can’t recommend this enough it’s WELLLL worth the money i can’t believe how great it is!

    Overall a great, versatile product!Comes with a good selection of guards for the entire body.The skin guard is an absolute life saver for shaving your balls and arounds! - Only downside is it does take a while to get a good shave using this.Battery seems to last forever!Gives a good, close shave when using without any guards.Very small and portable makes it great for taking when travelling too!Great value for money initially, although the blades are very expensive to replace.

È estremamente maneggevole e facile da usare, rendendo l'esperienza di rasatura piacevole e senza stress. Un punto a favore davvero notevole è che non irrita minimamente la pelle. Anche dopo un utilizzo prolungato, non ho mai sperimentato arrossamenti o fastidi, il che è un grande vantaggio per chi ha la pelle sensibile.Durata della BatteriaLa batteria è un altro aspetto dove il OneBlade eccelle. Una singola carica dura a lungo, permettendomi di utilizzarlo per diverse settimane senza doverlo ricaricare continuamente.
