I am only a hobbyist, so a Dremel seemed overkill.It isn't a Dremel, but it's fairly close and less than half the price. It's durable and the battery seems good enough for the tasks I use it for.The supplied plastic case is capable and fairly robust, but it only just holds the supplied accessories, so I've already moved it into a larger aluminium case. I do wonder if it would be better to omit this and reduce the cost.

Bought this as my son had jammed the chuck on my Dremel (write off). Decided Dremels were expensive and wanted a battery one anyway. Saw these with good reviews so bought it. Charged it fully before use, have only used it for removing plastic from model figures so far. Its easy to hold with the on/off switch falling below your index finger. The speed control is easy to use with a + and - button and 4 lights to show speeds. There's a ring at the bottom of the tool so it cn to hung up. The light has a collar which fits to the front, so can be used or not. It has a USB C cable for charging. Comes with a good selection of bits, the usual grinding discs, a couple of router bits, polishing pads etc. It also comes with a depth gauge and a useful shield to attach to the drill when grinding/cutting. It comes in a nice ABS case with space inside for any other bits you might get.I personally don't like collects, so bought a Dremel chuck which screws straight on replacing the collet.Would recommend this, a good alternative to Dremel. But only for what it's intended. Don't expect it to replace a 4inch angle grinder as some reviews.

This is genuinely one of the worst things I have EVER purchased from Bolo and I buy A LOT! I got it based on the reviews and either everyone else is due for getting their heads checked or I got really unlucky! it doesn't do ANYTHING it is supposed to and even comes a part whilst trying to tighten the attachments which are then almost impossible to get out without taking the whole thing a part, the attachments break or stop working and any application of pressure whilst using it causes it to stop. I had to buy something else of a known brand and more expensive and I wish I had done first time round as it is capable of doing EVERYTHING I tried with this DIPSTICH piece of rubbish!!!

So far I am impressed
I have had 2 higher end Dremels stop working without warning irdamgedobe to them in the last 4 years,so I am done with them as they don't offer any help. I figured why not try something less expensive so I have this rotary tool a try and I am very happy with its performance so far, and the cordless feature is very convenient. It charges fast and keeps its charge for a while. I am pleased.
Performance and quality well above expected for the price
When my beloved Dremel Lite finally gave up the ghost (the spindle became unseated making it impossible to keep it true), I wanted to replace it with something that had a little more power behind it. I had heard very good things about the previous generation of the Depstech 8v and this had some features that I haven't seen any other rotaries. I didn't have the biggest budget, so when there was a temporary price drop I went ahead and ordered this with fingers crossed.This thing is an outstanding rotary tool at any price.The motor is a beast. I work a lot with stock reduction of stainless steel and with my carbide burrs, this thing cuts through 304 like butter while the vibration stays very low! Grinding, cutting and sanding, both wood and steel are a pure delight.The ergonomics are very well thought out. It's a bit longer than most in this power range, and it helps tremendously when doing fine detail work. The light attachment is made without threads and can be turned to cast light where you need it without the body getting in the way.My favorite physical feature, however is the spindle lock button. I accidentally hit these buttons on every rotary tool I use more often than I care to admit. I think, in fact, that it's what did the ol Dremel Lite in, eventually. This is never a problem with this tool, as they have designed it such that the spindle lock cannot be engaged while the power button is slid to the on position. I know that for me, this will definitely increase the lifespan of the tool. I doubt I'm alone in that.The battery life is simply phenomenal. As is the charging time. It actually charges far more quickly than the 4v Dremel Lite. I don't know how they managed this. It could be voodoo for all I care.If you're on the fence and need a quality rotary tool to do hard jobs, this is the one you want!

Si portabilidad lo hace comodísimo. Su selector de velocidad, genial. La carga es razonable y aguanta lo suficiente. A mi personalmente me ha encantado.

Funktioniert. Nur schade das nicht mehr unterschiedliche Aufnahmezangen für die Werkzeuge mitgeliefert werden. Die muss man sich dann, wenn benötigt, woanders besorgen. Ansonsten ist noch zu sagen, super Support wenn man Fragen hat.
