It's a bargain basement lid with no frills that you basically build yourself from magnetic sticky tape, but I'm useless at diy stuff and i managed it in about 30 minutes.It does the job, magnets are strong enough to stop a betta jump (Betty has tested this), and for the price, is excellent value

Absolute rubbish. No matter what I did, the magnetic strip would not stay on where it was supposed to stay. Very difficult to put onto my fish tank.

The media could not be loaded. I was a bit unsure after reading the mixed reviews but I needed something cheap, and quickly, after a couple of my rasboras decided they wanted to learn to fly.Yes, it doesn't come with instructions, but there are 2 very easy to follow videos on this listing that show how to attach the netting to the magnetic strips and the tank.It won't necessarily stop a child falling in, but it skillfully avoided my test strips taking a dip!

It so difficult to set up took 2 of us no instructions in the box so had to use the description then obviously goes on a fish tank well the water droplets got onto the sticky bit then it just fell in the quality of magnets is a bit rubbish and then you also have the factor of wiresFor 10 pounds more I recommend going to the plastic people ( online website) getting a piece of clear acrylic then some clips of Bolo and then you have a sleek none taky lid

Price reflects quality. Doesnt stick well, cleaned the surface with alcohol wipes and it doesnt stick to well. Its a shame, just needs a better glue tape

Very easy to set up, it's a good fit for my 39×15 inch tank. So far, the quality is good, and I reckon it will last for a long time. As for the limescale that builds up, I just wet a cloth and gently scrub the net. Nice item! Makes cleaning more convenient.

Needed a jump guard for my clown killifish tank but was reluctant to pay a fortune. This was pretty cheap and does the job brilliantly. It was a bit tricky to work out how to make it at first, and I'm sure it's not fitted as instructed, but I watched a YouTube tutorial which showed a different way that appears really stable. Clicks back together really well after being opened. Good as I can feed the fish through the mesh.

Works great keep my fish tank safe and my fish. Perfect size and love how you can adjust. Great quality product and definitely worth it. It was easy to assemble and use.
Great idea but bad implementation
Honestly the idea is great. However, the adhesive side of the first layers doesn't stick very well on clean glass. I thought this would work for a rimless tank but there isn't enough edge to stock the bottom layer too. Even when it did, it quickly came off making the installation impossible. They top layer that goes over the second layer fits snug, but really tight to get on. Once you struggle with fitting it together, the adhesive side loses its tackyness to stay adhered to the tank. Can't recommend for a rimless tank. However, a rimmed tank is likely more suitable for this application. Great idea but should say "not for rimless tanks"
Fits a 125 gallon tank!
I did this mostly by myself. I had my mom help me line the magnetic tape up with the tank rim. But otherwise I did it alone and I'll bet you could too. Great for a red ear slider turtle!
Easy peasy install. Looks and works great.
Some reviews complain that this was hard to install. I'll admit the directions were a bit vague but anyone with some common sense can get it on and trimmed in 20 minutes or less.
