    I used it in one of my snake tanks, a mostly wooden one. The blocks expanded as described, my four foot tank used up two blocks. It’s messy, you need to use warm water and then delve in with your hands to lift the stuff out and squeeze the moisture out. I found this very tiring and it took me a good hour to complete this, normally with the dry stuff I used before I had everything sorted in ten minutes.

    I did not like the fact that I only received 1 pack. In order to receive the second half I must return the half I did receive, wait for the refund and then buy the whole lot again. I can't review the actual product for obvious reasons.

    This is a great substrate for my ball python! It retains moisture very well, and this seller has it for a great price-- cheaper than what I can get at my local pet supply store. I will definitely continue to buy this substrate from this seller.

    This coconut husk was perfect for my snakes enclosure. My kids loved seeing me put it in water and let if fluff up. They thought it was like magic. It was so easy and quick to get it all ready for use. One brick covered so much space! The price is great for how much you get. It looks great and my snake seems to love it! It’s perfect to help her shed!

    Both my rat snakes and king snakes love the bedding. Just noticed size versus use. 1 block is enough bedding for a 20gallon tank. I have 40 gallon tanks, so I needed 2 per tank. It maintains humidity very well and my snakes love to burrow into it with great ease. Zero smell, zero dust, and hydrated within minutes. Great stuff.
