5.0 out of 5 stars a bit bigger than expected
Generous size. I could probably use a smaller size. Very wide as well
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent footwear
Always struggled to get good fitting comfortable shoes for my 13 year old son who has wide feet and fallen arches. This is his 3rd pair of Fitville shoes, he has 2 trainers and shoes for school. All are really well made, stylish and above all supportive and comfortable for his feet. Thank god I discovered Fitville as all the other brands we have tried over the years had not been as good.
5.0 out of 5 stars trainer
comfortable but solid
4.0 out of 5 stars Good buy
It's a great buy, the toe box is way too big on my size 14s but good design and heavenly soles
5.0 out of 5 stars Wide fit perfect
These trainers are perfect for my wide feet ,been looking for years' as I am 4E fit size 9 ,they look wide when on feet but for me as they fit not a problem.Highly recommend for wide feet ,tried other brands but no luck never wide enough. Will be buying another pair
2.0 out of 5 stars These particular ones badly sized
Have previously ordered the Fitville Slip on, size 12 wide which were great and I think a better alternative to sketchers. The trainers though were no where close to fitting with big toe all scrunched up to try and put them on. The heel area is significantly padded, but I don’t think the overall shoe size has taken that into account. However, there was a happy person at the end of this. My Dad who is a size 10 found they fitted him perfectly.
Comfort
I have spent lots of money on all types of running and walking shoes, all kinds of top brands spending a fortune. I found FITVILLE WALKING shoe and it has been a life saver. Having bad feet and back problems these shoes are so comfortable. And best of all, the price is fantastic. Proves you don’t have to spend hundreds or more to get a well made product.
These will NOT disappoint you.
These sneakers are exactly what the description says. They are wide and there is plenty of room for my fat swollen toes. They are comfortable and very well made. I am so pleased with them. I will be ordering from this company again and again.
so wide and i'm happy
I'm a woman with wider feet and plantar's, these shoes so far have been wonderful. It has been a long time since a spread my toes out in a shoe and still have room, all other shoes squishy my toes together.
Shoes
These are wide toes and quite a bit of coution in the foit area. I really like them. True to size. Reason they didn't get 5 stars is because the eyelets need more work. Only stitched around hole. need metal eyelets. Not sure how long they will last. Great for wide feel or hammer toes.
FitVille Wide Toe Box Shoe: 11.5 4E/XW, good price, wide as advertised, might be too firm for some
Love the looks! They look like fairly new design athletic sneakers instead of 80s/90s era stuff that you typically see for diabetic shoes. They are indeed quite roomy at the toes and are true to rated size. I'm a 11.5 4E/XW and these fit great. There is plenty of room for thick inserts if you want or need them. And you just might! The stock insert is fairly soft and feels nice at first but gets compacted down after walking in these for a hour. So most of the cushioning is done by the sole which is thick blown and foamed rubber of some sort. The cushioning it provides is decent but fairly firm vs what you might expect from such a thick sole coming from something a maximalist Hoka or NB shoe.Personally I don't mind it, being fairly hefty at over 250lbs the firm cushioning is welcome to me for walking, but if you're the lighter sort you might be disappointed there. The sole has a large portion of the softer rubber exposed which is bad for durability. Lots of companies, including NB, are doing this on some fairly spending ($100+) shoes. So I guess this is the trend...but that trend SUCKS! Just cover the whole bottom of the shoe in the hard durable rubber please!! I'm fine with a few more ounces. At least these shoes run $60-ish instead. The upper looks to be as well made as other bigger name brands and is a "knit" style. Quite breathable and comfortable. The shoelace hole eyelets aren't really there though. There is some stitching around the holes to simulate eyelets but they don't do anything to reinforce the holes so be careful when tightening the laces!Personally I'm going to get some elastic laces and turn these into slip ons. Along with some moderate inserts to give my arches better support. This shoe does have some arch support but its not enough for me.
