    This high stool proved to be perfect for my needs. I was waiting for a hip replacement operation and as I live alone, had difficulty getting around and doing simple tasks like washing a few dishes, making a hot drink, etc. I needed to sit while working and the seat needed to be 'bar stool' height. It also needed to be robust, I'm 10 stone.This item is self-assembly and is very simple. I got a male family member to tighten all the screws and I now have a very useful piece of furniture, which doesn't look like it belongs in a hospital setting.
