Pet Sensitivity Advanced Home TestMy dog has a lot of food sensitivities which has been challenging to say the least, so I thought I would give this a go. The process was very easy, I just had to remove a few strands of hair from my dog, getting the hair as close to the root as possible. This was very easy to do and my dog didn’t seem to notice. I then mailed this to the lab in the provided envelope and awaited the results. I got an email to inform me once the hair had arrived at the lab and then another email when the results were ready which for me was within 24 hours so a very quick service.The results came encompassed in a very comprehensive report which explained everything in detail and listed items they thought he was highly reactive to and moderately reactive to under several headings namely: food sensitivity, additive sensitivity, environmental and nutrition sensitivities. I cannot comment on how accurate the results are but they are very interesting and definitely something that I will be taking the time to look into. What I can say is that the service was very good and the turnaround time was very quick. This is an area of science that is very contentious so you need to do your own research as to wether this is something you want to explore but if you decide to give it go then this company seem to be very organised and professional.

I ordered this kit as my dog has skin problems to find out what her allergies were I have to say I’m very disappointed with the results firstly I received 8 emails after they had received my sample trying to get me to buy the kit I had already purchased and secondly the results are a joke it’s difficult to understand the results for a start and the tests they did were on random things we’ve never heard of like ruthenium ru and sodium selenate I was hoping the tests would be on everyday foods and areas so having spent £69.99 I am absolutely non the wiser my advice don’t waste your money

I sent my dog's hair samples for testing on the Monday a week before Christmas and got an email on the Friday saying that they had received my sample. As yet - over a week later - I still haven't received the results, but I'm fine with that as I hope the staff of My Pet Sensitivity got some time off over the festive period.The hair sample was easy to take, although the supplied comb didn't work very well on our Podenco. We used another brush instead. There are conflicting instructions as to the posting of the samples. You have to register your samples before sending and the info on the website is different to that in the box. It was a little confusing but we sent the samples in the freepost envelope supplied.So far I've had about 5 emails from My Pet Sensitivity and some of the them feel a bit spammy so I hope that this doesn't continue after I've had the results.Anyway, I will update this review once the results have been sent and let you know what I feel about the overall service of this product.

This kit was easy to use but the instructions on the pack were clear but did vary to those that appear online when you scan the QR.code (e.g. how to package and send the kit). I followed the instructions within the package and my sample arrived just fine. You have to send in a little snip of your dog's fur in an envelope.Registering the kit signed me up for daily emails from the company, which I have now unsubscribed from. I got the results back by email within a few days via a PDF. The information I received was very detailed and I would imagine it would be useful as part of a discovery process if your dog is showing signs of being unwell as it breaks down things which your pup may be highly sensitive to, or slightly sensitive etc.This was a free product, and my dog is not unwell so I wasn't seeking any specific results. I found the results to be quite overwhelming especially things like which metals may cause issues. I would expect that if I had reason to do so, I could easily identify sources of discomfort based on these results.I think this could be really useful for some people and those looking for answers. I was happy with the overall process.

Fantastic little low invasive test kit for dogs.I used this kit for my shar pei, being a breed prone to issues & was very impressed with the quality & speed of the service.Kit arrived Monday, came with all tools & instructions needed. A fine flea type comb to collect hairs & a pre paid & addressed envelope to send off the sample. Just needing to collect 10-15 hairs for sample, more than easy with the comb provided & my dog was totally oblivious that anything had happened. Then place them in a small bag & post them off.I had them send on Tuesday afternoon & received an email Friday morning saying the lab had the sample, then later that same day received an email containing a comprehensive report on the findings about my dog.Showing potential sensitivities to foods, additives, environment & much more all shown in a easy to read, well presented & highly informative report.Could not fault the speed or quality of the service this kit provides.
Results
Sent the test last Friday 3/22/24, 3/29/24 And still no results. They say you get your results in 3 days. Not happy. If we don’t get any results by 4/1/24 We want a refund. It didn’t come with any instructions figured it out ourselves. Never use this product again. I want a refund. NOT HAPPY AT ALL.
Easy Peazy
So great response time, easy to use. I think most of the people complained did not register their test beforehand. Even though if u read the instructions it’s right there.I got a little frustrated with the amount of info they sent and was ready to return it. I finally sat down and read through it and realized it is very comprehensive and cancelled my return. Bu clicking on every substance it does explain where u would find it.PLEASE BE ADVISED THIS IS NOT AN ALLERGY TEST.

My dog is allergic to chicken. Also has seasonal allergies all which have been proven. These test results said nothing about either one told me a list of stuff that she was allergic to that's all things I've never even heard of and took forever for the results. It's a scam
Similar issues as other reviews - regret purchasing
Like someone else mentioned, product registration and sample instructions is confusing. There are two different sets of instructions.The product details that you’ll receive results in 3-5 days but what they fail to mention until you email them is that your sample is sent to a fulfillment office before going to the lab and this process can take up to 3 weeks. So we’re looking at over a month before receiving results not 3-5 days. That’s even taking into consideration the days it takes to mail the sample. I had anticipated results within two weeks.I had to send a second email and in that response they told me they thought my sample had gotten lost in transit despite being told in my original email that it was at the fulfillment office. Other people mentioned this in the reviews as well.They offered to send me new instructions to which I have not heard back from them.I will update once/if I receive the instructions. Maybe it was an honest mistake and they will redeem themselves.
